Astrid didn't understand the language, but understood enough to take it as an insult. "I don't take threats from pups." Astrid spat, a low growl escaping her slightly open maw. Her eyes burned with fury... and maybe only a bit of enjoyment. It had been a while since she'd last fought. "And I can't say I'd be sorry to return daddy's girl broken." At Taiga's lunge Astrid didn't flinch. The way the girl's muscles had coiled had confirmed she hadn't planned to lunge far, and Astrid stared un-phased. The girl was acting on anger, Astrid would have to use some creativity, and a patience she could barely cling on to. Instincts wanted to take over. Astrid clearly had size on the smaller canine, she was sure she had experience as well. The little girl was going down and Astrid was determined to make sure of it.
At the girl's comment, Astrid held back a loud growl that would have confirmed the girl's words. No one would really miss her. But there was Hiccup. She'd seen him but 10 days ago... she couldn't guarantee he'd miss her, he had friends of his own now. But they'd talked... It would be rude to not drop by alive once in a while. "What family? It's just you and you're daddy. If he's really yours." Astrid sneered. The man didn't seem able to speak the tongue the girl could. Astrid lunged forward, kicking off. Her large fangs aiming clearly for Taiga's face. She felt her fangs near Taiga's cheek, just below the eye. Her forelegs fell to the earth first, her hind legs falling directly behind. Astrid pushed up, tilting her neck so the side faced away from Taiga, her mouth whipping away from Taiga's face, whether or not it tore skin. Her shoulder was jerked upwards with Astrid's moment, moving upwards directly under Taigai's chin/neck area. The blow was aimed to cut off air, or stun the other canine. Astrid continued with the leap, flying over the girl onto the opposite side, carefully keeping her back side open. Not towards Sinbad or any others, just in case.
Astrid made a half circle, mercilessly driving in once again, her mouth the prime weapon in this attack. Her teeth had a metallic clipping sound, interrupted sometimes as if meeting flesh, but Astrid couldn't be sure. Her face whipped sideways, back and forth, meant to tear. It was the wolf way. Forcing you're victim down for the on lookers to tear apart. Astrid highly doubted the werewolves would apply to this custom. So, she opted to the other way. Tearing her victim slowly, piece by piece. Adding some viking flair. Astrid whipped around to resume her circle, aiming another shoulder blow. Her lips were drawn in a snarl, the skin wrinkling together and helping shape an image of fear and malice. Astrid's ears were pinned tightly against her skull, standing in standard battle position. Legs slightly spread apart, head down and braced. Her body was tense, but her muscles flexed visibly beneath the layer of fur that had not become thick. It was not yet winter. A stream of snarls, barks, and growls flowed from Astrid's throat, highlighted by the metallic clip of her threatening teeth. Astrid was nearly shaking with anticipation for another attack. The blonde was quick, she was strong, and right now, she knew nothing of her enemy. Soon enough she would, she believed the girl was quick, it was the making of a hunter. But most hunters weren't to strong, lean, lithe, and able to chase and help bring down prey. It was a quicker process. Astrid knew by her own hunts, she wasn't the fastest, she had more strength in her, she was fast, but there was a difference.
Astrid lunged forward again, this time, going for the girl's ear, as if to cling on or rip the appendage off. She let her teeth close and than lunged back, out into the circle once more. She started to circle, it was a braced, tense movement. Every step quick, but a pause after as if awaiting for an attack. Astrid was braced for the girl to ram her, or come at her face first. Her mouth was slightly agape, lips pulled all the way back to reveal gums as well as teeth. The blonde's pupils were mere, tiny dots in an expanse of electric blue. Her iris's were livid, liquid fire, flickering and moving with anticipation, malice, and intelligence.

Taiga rolled with the punches, getting up only to be attacked again. The other girl was strong, but Taiga realised she didn't know what Taiga's build was. Even though the brunette wolf was small, she was strong and fast. Years of training with a wooden sword made her that way. She followed Astrid in her circle motion, the girl's ears were pinned against her head as she growled. She was sore and bleeding, just thankful she still had her ear. She couldn't go for the obvious move to her face, the girl would be expecting that.
Instead the small wolf made a dash for the left, and seeing that she moved a bit faster that Astrid could really track, she attacked the girl's neck, not sure if her teeth made it past the thick layer of fur. She latched on and bit down as hard as she possibly could. If she got thrown off she had a plan, if not she was on the enemie's back so it wouldn't be that hard to figure something out.
((ooc: Yeah wow, i even told Sinbad, "I'm gonan have to follow that up?!" Sorry if i didn't give you much to work with ^.^' that was just an amazing post!))

Astrid felt the girls teeth sink into her scruff, but Astrid was glad for the girl's small size. Lowering her head, Astrid twisted and reached for the girl's hind leg, hoping to get what might be considered the 'knee' between her jaws. Any part would do though. She let her teeth clamp down. Hard. With that, girl attached by scruff or being held by Astrid's teeth, Astrid didn't roll onto her side, she fell heavily. It was like a dragon coming at you with it's tail or foot, no time to get into the rolling position, tucking and such. You just dropped. It was exactly what Astrid did, falling onto her side and leaning a hard shoulder into/towards Taiga's side. Than she rolled. She shook herself, and kicked out to the girl's cheek, trying to dislodge the fae from her own scruff. Astrid made a circle, jerking and tearing, in case the fae's limb was in her mouth. Astrid steadied herself on her hind paws, moving up quickly and forcing herself forward. She straightened her forelegs and crashed them down to the ground, hoping to get the small wolf. Vicious snarls continued, uninterrupted from her maw. Astrid jumped back, a steady trickle of blood coming from her scruff. Sand and dirt mixed into her fur, trying to irritate her skin. Dirt and blood came to clumps in her fur.
Astrid lunged forward, maw open, muzzle jerking forward teeth grabbing and shaking, grabbing and shaking. She didn't know if the attacks tore of fur, reached the skin, or just didn't make it. She was moving in a frenzy, teeth going to tear and rip. Astrid was now using her paws to try and hold/push down the girl, or knock the wind from her. The girl was fast, true. Astrid was a warrior, viking. She fought dragons ten times her size with a greater advantage against her. She could take this girl. Astrid slapped out with her paw, lunging in again, her teeth going for the girl's cheek and jerking down to her shoulder. She was trying to shred the girl, tear large gashes on her flank. Maybe weaken her from blood loss. Astrid leaped back once more, her circle one step closer, still out of range from the center. Astrid lunged forward, lifting into the air, trying to barrel into the girl and knock her away or to the ground. Astrid's muzzle was twitching with snarls, the skin on her muzzle wrinkling and unwrinkling. Her nose still snubbed up, lips twitching to cover and uncover gums. Her ears were rotating as much as they could, still plastered to the sides of her head.
Astrid was back in her circle, tail waving tentatively behind her like her own flag. High and proud, her hackles raised to their full extent. They seemed to be stuck in place, porcupine style, her tail appearing to be a Nadder's needled tail as well. She was pacing on the pads of her toes, her toes barely scraping the earth beneath as she leaped in and out of the circle. She feigned a full fledged bite to Taiga's throat, forcing forward with her shoulder, aiming between the shoulder and neck. Her lower jaw jerking up with the rest of her head, still wide open to trying and clamp down on the scruff of the girl. Astrid tore back, stepping back into her circle, bristling rage and anticipation buzzing from the tips of each hair along her body. Half bark, half snarl, left her mouth, the tip of her tongue lolling out for a second before retreating back, hidden behind a cell of gleaming white fangs. Astrid lunged forward, teeth going for the girl's forelegs before Astrid skittered back to the edges of the circle once more.
(( ooc: Aww thank you ^^ And no, you're post was fine!! With fighting I kinda go crazy ^w^ ))

Taiga held on for dear life as the blonde went crazy. Thanking god for her tiny size she was able to hang on with out Astrid getting much more than fur. Taiga had to admit that the girl's moves were really, well good. At the last move though Taiga let go and skidded on the pads of her paws. Her shoulder was dropped slightly from the pain she was getting at being basically rolled on. She wasn't dumb, she knew when a fight was over, there was just one point she wanted to prove now. Moving as qickly as she could she got behind Astrid and attempted a hard locking bite to the girl's flank. If she missed she didn't really care it was a hard, split second. Then Taiga backed away and changed form back to human. Her left leg was bleeding pretty badly along with most of her body. Though compairing the girl's sizes and strengths they where pretty evenly matched and possibly wounded to the same...interesting degree. Sure Taiga hadn't really done much but bite the girl's neck and possibly butt, but it might have helped prove her point that size didn't matter and that she could take care of herself. One reason the brunette let go, was because she slightly respected Astrid's ideals. The blonde annoyed the crap out of her, but she did accept a challenge and lived up to it. Taiga didn't like hurting people unless she really had to, and Astrid attacking her made her retaliation self defence. "Sinbad is not my real father," she said standing up as straight as she could, "But he's better than the one I had. You have no right to say anything about our relationship when you don't know the dinamics, and next time you deside you want to insult us, I will not stop fighting you until one of us is dead." Taiga made her way back to Sinbad, not caring anymore if Astrid attacked her. She was more nimble and at a bit of an advantage of thumbs and hands for choking the wolf in her human form. ((ooc: sorry i know you love fights, but Taiga isn't a dumb chicka she knows when its time to stop ))

Sokka sat there watching the spat between the two girls. It was strange to see how madly they fought over nothing but a few words. Things were different here, it was for sure. His tail dropped and his face became somber. What became of his sister? His grandmother? His tribe? It was maddening not knowing. His eyes reverted back to Taiga and Astrid. He muttered under his breath, "That's a little over reacting....."

Taiga's ears perked slightly at the voice and she turned and looked at Sokka, shaking her head her head, "I wouldn't expect you to understand." Pulling a hair tie out of her blazer pocket, Taiga pulled up her hair. Wiping away a trickle of blood from her cheek she made her way back over to Sinbad.

Sinbad gave Taiga a small pat on the head before giving Astrid another look. She was tough and would probably serve well in a fight if she needed it, so he wasn't exactly concerned. "Now you know not to mess with Taiga." he said. "She can go full out if she wants to."

Silence. For once, Baird stood in silence. Perhaps he was thinking about something, perhaps it was canine instinct taking over to not interfere with a fight to determine who the alpha had been, or perhaps it was just soldier instinct to let one fight a battle to prove their worth. Whatever caused it, he stayed back on the tree besides Tigress who had done the same thing. He grit his teeth slightly when Taiga said something. Something he could actually relate to. Not my real father, but better than the one I had. Baird didn't want to think about the subject of his parents. So he cast the thought aside. "Look at that, a fight that Daddy's little girl backed out of. So this is the huntress of the pack that can't even win a fight? Huh." he said, sarcasm dipping itself in his voice at the last two sentences. "She can go full out alright, when she's not going to be bleeding and crying about her injuries. Or her issues with parents."
Tigress cocked an eyebrow at Baird. She reverted back to tiger form, deciding it be best. After that fight, and Baird's mouth, another fight was possible to break out that she'd have to stop. Human flesh was not going to help her. "I have to agree with wolfie down there. A bit of an overreaction." she said. She was just like that herself as a child. Bitter, getting herself into fights. Terror filled those who saw her before she learned to control herself. Even now, she had some difficulty controlling her anger and rage. Not such a good thing either.

"HEY!" Sinbad growled at Baird. "You have a problem with her, then you mess with me. I don't let others make fun of my pack. For one, at least she had the right judgement to back off when she knew it would be too bad if she lost." His eyes narrowed at Baird. "I would think someone like you would know when that they have bitten off more than they chew. But i guess i was wrong. Since you would make a little girl feel like crap."

"Sinbad it's fine," Taiga said gritting her teeth, "I'm not a little girl. I'm a freaking teenager, it's not my problem if he has the brain the size of an infant. Don't encourage his stupidity okay? The blonde ones a good fighter, I miss judged her." Saying this Taiga turned to Astrid and gave her a small bow, "You're a good fighter, and I'm sorry for any injuries I may have inflicted. I over reacted and wasn't thinking. Though I would appreciate if you didn't make fun of me. It won't ever end well."

"Can't take a little sarcasm, either of you?" Baird said with a bit of a pout in his face. "By the way, I'm not the one with the brain the size of an infant. In fact, I'm a blonde genius, thank you very much, so why don't you just-" he began before Tigress jammed a paw over his mouth, smacking his head into the tree. With a heavy sigh, he took the paw off his mouth. "Yeah yeah, I get it, I get it, shut up. At least the brunette's a good fighter." He paused, debating on saying something about how good of a father Sinbad was to watch her fight against the teenage blonde girl.
"Glad you understand how to shut up, 'genius.'" Tigress spat before her orange eyes turned back to the scene before her. Taiga. Taiga sounded so much like herself. Overreacted. Wasn't thinking. Good fighter. A bit of a smile came to her face. It was nice to see that some people in the world still had a shred of respect for those they fought. She wasn't used to that with humans, nor werewolves.

Sokka promptly shut up when Taiga spoke to him. She was so puny, yet even by watching her, he could tell she was a much better fighter. He scratched his head, fleas still bothering him occasionally even in this form.
He glanced at Tigress and gave a small chuckle. For some reason, she reminded him of his sister. She was always like that, sarcastic but still kind to those who were kind to her. He gave a sigh, home-sick once again.

Astrid had taken a step back from Taiga as well, regarding her with a bristling pelt. The fae seemed to have backed out of the fight and Astrid's fur instantly went to lay flat. After that little episode though, Astrid stayed in her wolf form. She felt a slight bristle of embarrassment. She'd relaxed to long, been caught slightly off guard. That was all it took. Astrid proceeded to sit on her haunches and looked over the injuries she'd received. Not to bad. She'd received worse from fights with dragons, this was something she could manage. Astrid was about to start biting out the bits of dirt that clumped her fur together. They were bound to leave tangles, and those irritated her more than anything. It was hard to brush out tangles in the forest. At Sinbad's words Astrid bristled. She learned to back off? She learned? She had no doubt the girl was a good fighter, Astrid was outmatched in speed, something she'd admit. But for the male to say such to her, she perceiving herself as somewhat winner, yet not a loser. He had the nerve to tell her she learned something new. Astrid snorted disapprovingly, bared her white fangs toward the male with a low growl, and took out a large clump of mud and blood from her fur. Astrid stood as Baird started to speak, slightly amused. It was pleasing to have someone on her side. The 'alpha' male seemed to be a bit moody today anyway.
Astrid's head whipped over to where Taiga was speaking to her. She made a little bow with her head to the girl as well. It seemed respectful enough, right? "I don't think I've injured you to bad, but I am sorry as well. Though I have to say, it was a good fight and you're not at any disadvantages." It was the closest thing Astrid might have ever come close to an outright praise. "And the same goes for you." Astrid added to go with Taiga's last bit of speech. Astrid's eyes than turned to Sokka, remembering his words. Her cold eyes examined him as well, and she nodded in agreement as well. It didn't seem like he'd been in any fights in the new form yet. There were so many new impulses and reactions, she couldn't blame Taiga for coming for an attack at her. Temper seemed to be a big part of werewolf life.
Astrid smirked as the tiger evidently made the blonde man shut up. The blonde man being almost childish in a way. It was amusing, the blonde and muscles seemed to almost have similar behaviors, both slightly childish and very stubborn. And loud.

With that smack on the head from his mouth, plus the genius comment from her, Baird's death glare towards the femme tiger softened as he turned to Sokka, hearing his sigh. A part of him felt a bit guilty. It couldn't be easy as a teenager to be like... that. Especially with several many girls and a handful of males, not to mention all the males were probably at least five years older than him. Sure, Baird had to leave everyone he knew, possibly Sinbad too, but the effect it had on a teenager was usually rather... negative. More negative then the effect it had on the other two males.
"Hey. What's up with you?" Baird asked, his voice surprisingly not sarcastic as usual. That took a lot to do, keep his sarcasm under control. He could recall it happened three times, but there was a chance there was more. Or less. It sounded... sincere, actually. Maybe because the kid wasn't throwing himself out to fight. Or smacking him in the face. Or yelling at him.

Hmm? The blonde one was talking to him? Sokka turned his head, slightly embarressed. "Oh? Uh, just a little...... I miss my family, that's all."
He scratched in the dirt with his foot. It was really something new to be here with all of these people, yet knowing fully well that he would just end up lonely again in a few minutes once they all went their seperate ways.
