Taiga rolled her eyes and laughed lightly, "Right, remind me to stay away from you if you have fleas. I don't that's for sure."
She followed him for awhile staying silent as she thought about her old life and how different it was from Sokka's own. Strange how two people so different ended up in the same situation. She couldn't dwell long on it though. It didn't really matter how they were before, they were the same...well almost the same, now.

Sokka gave a smirk. This was nice, just talking to someone close to his age. He didn't have many chances to do that, but it was welcomed. Perhaps, she could teach him more about life here than he could learn on his own. "You know, being here might not be so bad. Anyways, Sinbad, what's he like?"

Taiga shook her head at the mention of Sinbad. There were so many ways to describe the man, not all good. She thought for a bit before answering.
"He's strong and brave, a bit of a hot head and again a bit sexist," she started, "But he's loyal and protective. He's the best friend or worst enemy you could ever have. He's great."

Sokka just nodded, thinking about what she said. Sinbad didn't seem that much of a bad guy, just a little misunderstood. He shrugged, trying to clear his head so he could focus on the conversation. "I see."
He stepped over a very large root protruding from the ground. "So, have you ever thought that you would end up here and as a werewolf no less? I sure didn't."

(Ooc: so sorry this is as xia. I'm on my phone and won't be home till late)
Taiga shrugged her shoulders, "Never thought i'd be a werewolf, knew I was going to be on my own, and I didnt think i'd find anyone else."
The small girl steppd over the root and tried to keep her footing. Stange as it was to be walking with a guy that seemedto b as clumsy as she could be. Then again most of her friends were girls, even then she only had one. As confiedent as she felt, there was still some awkwardness at being around a guy.

Sokka glanced back at her, something telling him to make sure that she was safe. Pack survival instincts? Perhaps, but he knew well enough to stay away from her unless she absolutely needed it. She just had that type of personality, to where she had to do everything herself without help. He shrugged as he watched her clear it. "Me? I thought I would be hunting for the tribe my whole life. That's all I thought I would do."
He stopped, seeing they had reached the borders of the town. "Looks like we're here."

"Just act natural, and by that I mean the human natural not the wolf," she said, pausing slightly as they reached the town border. As much as she loved her life as a human when she was alone, towns always gave her a bit of trouble. No doubt that some one would ask Sokka why he'd brought his little sister into town so late. Already regretting coming to this place, Taiga crossed her arms and jerked her head towards a store.
"Go in, get what we need, and book it the hell out of here okay?" she asked.

Sokka nodded. He brought out the jewel and studied it once more, before heading inside. Inside, it was a hunter paradise. Metal bows, axes of steel, and knifes sharper than any bone or tooth he used to make them before. He grinned and instantly grabbed not only an axe, but also three knifes and some whetstones to sharpen them. He put them all on the counter. "So, what do you wnat in return?"
Thee store owner looked at him in suspiscion. "Sixty gold coins."
Sokka scratched his head, then shook it. The man behind the counter scowled. The werewolf paused before reaching into his pocket. "Would this do?"
He laid the diamond on the counter. The store owner's face twisted in shock. Dumbly, he nodded. Sokka grinned, knowing full well that it would work, and pointed at a weapons rack behind the man. "Could I have that too?"
A few minutes later, a grinning Water Tribe boy came out with a rack of many weapons in a wheelbarrow. On his back, a quiver was placed while an out of place helmet was on his head. The helmet was shaped like a wolf's head. "Was able to get quite a lot of things apparently. I don't really care for many of these things, but I needed something to hold my sword and other stuff.

Sinbad had heard the two other wolves moving around the cave in his sleep, but he didn't bother with getting up until after they left. Curiosity piqued, he stood and shook his dark brown fur, then shifted to a friendlier form. He raised his arms above his head, stretching the sleepiness from his body and yawned. So much for a decent nap.
He reached the edge of town as Taiga and Sokka were exiting a shop. Sinbad blinked at the sheer amount of stuff that was in the wolf warrior's hands. "How did you two pay for all that?" He called, walking over to them.

Taiga jumped slightly at Sinbad's voice. Leave it to him to find them right after they bought something. Blinking lightly, she turned to look at him sheepishly. She crossed her arms and tried to think about everything.
"We used a loose diamond from the wall," she said.

Sokka rubbed the back of his head. "Hey, Sinbad. I guess I'm a part of your pack now and Taiga was helping me move in and I needed an axe so we came out to get one. Long story short, we got a whole lot more than just an axe with the diamond...."
He grabbed the two nearest things, a mace and a large sword. He offered them up to the man. He chuckled nervously. "You can have your pick of anything in the wheelbarrow. All I really wanted was the axe, the whetstones, the bow, and the rack to hold it. You can have the rest."

Sinbad gave Sokka a once over. Strong warrior...with a quirky personality. But something told the werewolf that when it came down to it, Sokka was as brave and loyal as any of the men Sinbad had met over the years. He nodded. "Guess so. Welcome aboard," The nautical term came out so easily, even though being on a ship seemed like a lifetime ago.
He took the sword from Sokka and weighed it in his hands. "Strong." He took a step back and swung an arc to the left. Nice to know his swordsmanship skills hadn't been affected. "And easily to handle." A small grin appeared on his face. "Let's get this stuff back, we can organize and divide it there."

Sokka nodded in relief. Sinbad was really what Taiga said. He hoisted the wheelbarrow up and started moving. It wasn't that heavy thankfully.
He held his head high as they entered the forest. "So, Sinbad, where are you from?"

Where was he from? That was an excellent question; one he had to really think about the answer. Let's see, he grew up in Syracuse, but once he left, he never stayed in same place for more than a couple of days...on land. He spent most of his time out on the water. He slowed his pace so Sokka could catch up. "Syracuse, originally. I spent most of my human life at sea. We never really stayed on land for very long." He smiled fondly at the memory. "What about you, Sokka? Spend a lot of time in the water?" Something about the younger wolf gave him that feeling; perhaps the boy was part of a crew on another ship. (OOC: Idk if Sinbad & Taiga already talked about this. Let me know if you want him to ask her too! )

((ooc: Sorry I'm on my phone and it's a hassle to change out. They haven't so if you want sure! I can't really get on till friday.)
Taiga watched the boys as they talked. She liked hearing about Sinbad's adventures, but this is the first time he ever really mentioned a place. So she was surprised when he mentioned Syracuse. The young wolf wasn't really sure where that was, but it sounded cool.
