(Does take place the day after the other thread that I threw Mittens into)
One day was all that had gone by, yet, the castle was already big enough for the house cat as it was. Yet, she still had to shrug it off, after all, she had travelled across America as it was, so this should be simple enough to figure out. But yet, Mittens was still curious as it was to figure out this castle, where everything was.
Though, before she were to head off, she had to at least clean her face a bit first. In a sense though, she was trying to postpone the whole exploring aspect of the castle.

Marie having being forced to leave the training session between Courtney and Gothel, warned around looking kind of peeved off. How was she supposed to get stronger if Gothel wouldn't let her train with her wizard. "This is so unfair! I am just as strong as Courtney, so what if i am a kitten. I still have magic!"

Mittens' ears flickered at the voice of the kitten and chuckled a little bit at what she was saying as her head turned to see Marie not to far from her. But then, she just let off a sigh "Alright, alright, what's wrong with you?" she decided to ask, eyes looking at her all the while.

Marie turned to the fellow cat. "That...That Woman! She kicked me out of a magical lesson! Apparently this was just a class meant for students. Well, I'm a student aren't I? Sure i am not human, but still..." she pouted. She knew that Gothel meant well, but still it was extremely unfair.

Mittens listened in to what Marie had to tell her and again, she did chuckle a little bit "Learning about magic?" Mittens had to think on that before a light grin appeared upon her face as an idea crossed into her mind.
"Yeah, this is probabally a rather pathetic idea, but how about I teach you? I mean, I don't really know anything about you and what you can do...but you do seem to want to do a bit of magic and all" Mittens shrugged in the end.

"You know magic too?" she asked before giving her a suspcious look. "It's not that i don't want to learn magic, i do but really its not fair that i can't learn on the level of my fellow witch. If we are supposed to be in sync with magic, then why can't we be with them?"
She was glad to have another cat to talk to.

"Yeah, I know magic....Illusions in particuar" Mittens replied back with as she closed her eyes and in turn, gave the illusion that there were two of her in the room. The illusion of her, sitting next to Marie and spoke up "But you do have a point there, but I mean hey, if they don't want to teach you..."
The illusion then vanished as Mittens opened her eyes again "I could still do that, but, that's only if you want to" she shrugged afterwards.

Marie was really taken back by the offer, up to the point where suspicion lay beneath her blue eyes. "Why would you do that for me?" this was not hte most lady like thing she could have done but it was better to be safe than sorry. "We just met after all, how do i know you won't just try to make me screw up."

"We're both cats aren't we? And you do want to get better right? But....if you don't want to...." Mittens then stood up and started to walk off, a light smirk across her face all the while, hoping that at least Marie would follow her as she glanced back to the other kitten.

"W-w-wait." Marie said scampering after the cat. "It's not that i don't want you to teach me, its just that...well i've never met another cat that believed me when i told them that i had powers. My brothers thought i was crazy." she explained. "if you are willing to teach me, i accept."

Mittens stopped in her tracks as she turned to face Marie, hearing that she did accept her offer "Alright then, first thing is first, can you at least show me what you can do? And then, from there, I would say, we could work on that"
Though, as she waited for a demonstraion from Marie, she just started to lick her front left paw, eyes glancing at Marie every so often.

Marie nodded and stopped walking. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and focused on what she wanted to do. 'Focus. Clear your mind. You can do this' she thought. After a moment or two, the same image of Marie appeared in front of both her and Mittens. There was one problem though, half of its fur was white the other blue.
"Darn it, it always happens!"

Mittens looked at the clone and chuckled a little "Well, at least you can create a clone, even if it's not....perfect" she spoke, looking the clone deep in the eyes before an idea occured to her "Perhaps, close your eyes then try it? It does work a bit better for me that way"

"Uh, but i already did close my eyes." she said with a sigh of defeat. "Is there anything else you can do to help me with this?" the white kitten asked. "I've tried closing my eyes, thinking about what i want to see and that doesn't help."
This black cat clearly knew a lot about magic and illusions the more she could learn about them the better

(ooc: Yeah, sorry, missed the detail that Marie had closed her eyes, oops XD)
Mittens thought a bit more on what she could do to help her out before another idea entered her mind "What about....what makes you relax? Perhaps, I dunno, you're a bit stressed? Something to unstress yourself?" she asked, eyes gazing Marie over.
Again, Mittens thought as she stood up, walking towards Marie and sitting down next to her "Just, whatever I guess, can relax you, that might work. So I guess, whatever relaxes you, just do that" she suggested to her.
