Equestria was in a tranquil peace, everything running smoothly in the royal city of Canterlot causing the rest of the land to follow the same. Just everyday little problems occurred until a pony arrived, giving herself the title Queen Edlyn, ruler of all land and sea. The alicorn had come to take control of the land. Princess Luna and her older sister Princess Celestia used their magic together to drive her away. However, instead of driving the crazed alicorn away, they brought infantry to aid both themselves as well as their dark visitor.

When the spell didn't work, Edlyn defeated the princesses, taking over the castle of Canterlot and taking the sun, moon, and oceans into her possession. As time went on, ponies began to randomly appear from nowhere, concerning the princesses. When there was no other choice but war, the ponies who had been taken from their old homes had to be forced to choose a side of their war.

To join alongside Queen Edlyn, or fight for the pair of princesses. You must choose, and choose wisely, for this war will go on from dusk to dawn.
