(A little something random I wrote in my 4th period Aide class)
Ikuto sat in the castle with his hands gripping his hair around his temples. How could he have been so stupid? He'd just wrecked Mami's picnic because she had seen his ears and tail. It had been going so well, nothing had activated his demon powers...then she used her magic and he'd been to close. Light tended to send the young demon into a state of discord, thus resulting with his demon traits showing. In his rage he'd hit Mami and trashed her picnic before running off.
Sitting in his room, Ikuto looked out the window towards the witches school and home. He hadn't seen Mami in days and it was driving the boy insane. Throwing caution to the wind, he opened his window and jumped out. Heading to town to right his wrongs. When he arrived the blonde light witch was not in the park like usual. Changing his trajectory he ran into town and bought a few things from the local grocery store.
The moon was high in the sky when Ikuto neared the castle. Every hair was on edge, there were so many enemies in the castle the cat demon bit down hard on his lip to keep from hissing and reveling himself to the witches within. He circled the building until he saw Mami in a lit window. In a mad dash he broke through the border and ran towards the window, scaling up the wall he knocked softly on the window. The blonde opened it and he jumped through.
"What are you doing here!" she snapped crossing her arms.
All the boy did was hold out a plastic bag filled with treats and medical supplies. Mami raised an eyebrow as her golden orbs stared into his souless blue ones. She reached out and took the bag, looking in she locked eyes with Ikuto once again.
"Are you trying to appologize?" she asked.
"I didn't mean to freak out like that," he said, "It just happened. I'm not much of a day person."
"No demon is," Mami said with a glare.
"No...you're right we're not," he said, "Not that it matters. I have my own light source."
"What is that? Demons hate the light," Mami snorted.
"I'm not like most demons," Ikuto said heading back to the window as he heard the crashes.
"Wait where are you going? You never answered my other question!" Mami said keeping a distance but standing in front of the door almost protectively.
"I'm never going to bother you again," he said with a shrug, "As for your question, my light...is you."
With that the blue haired teen jumped out the window and headed out of the barrier. On a hidden path in the woods he watched the witches search their home for the invader. He must have fallen asleep, for he woke up to the sound of footsteps running the path. On edge his feline ears flicked to the source as he hissed.
"Down kitty," Mami said moving into his vision with a ball of light shinning on her face, "It's just me."
"What do you want?" he asked straightening up and shoving his hands into his pockets.
The blonde said nothing as she walked up to him and planted a kiss on his lips. When she broke the contact, Ikuto's eyes remained open in shock.
"I'll see you in the park tomorrow," she said turning to leave.
Just before she started walking, Ikuto's arm wrapped around her shoulder and his left hand turned her head towards him gently. He kissed her and pulled back with a whisper, "It's a date."
