Name: Arthur
Age: 12
Movie/Show: The Sword in the Stone
Picture:
Other: Since being hit by magic, Arthur has gained the ability to shift his shape into that of small animals. He isn't all that good at it right now and often gets stuck in a different form without meaning to. Whenever he transforms, his forms are usually an orangey brown color and appear scruffier than normal animals.
(he's the one on the left.)
Personality: Arthur is a hard-working young boy and very eager, but he is also rather clumsy and a bit forgetful. While Arthur isn’t the brightest of boys, he is capable of using his head in situations and is eager to learn. He isn’t exactly the bravest boy, either, and isn’t afraid to ask for help if he needs it. While he isn’t a coward, he isn’t overly reckless either.
History: When Arthur was very young, he found himself orphaned. He was taken in by a knight known as Sir Ector. For as long as he could remember his life was that of a sort of servant. He really did want to be a squire, but because he was so scrawny and seemingly useless no one ever took him seriously. So Arthur was doomed to just spend his days as a servant and doing whatever Sir Ector and his adopted brother, Kay, wanted him to do.
That all changed one night when he was taking a break. He happened to spy a shooting star out his window and naively wished upon it. He assumed that he would be getting a better life by wishing on that star. What he got instead was magic powers. Powers that he didn't understand. All Arthur knew was that when he woke up the morning after seeing the shooting star he had somehow turned into a squirrel! Confused by this turn of events, Arthur sought out Sir Ector to see if he could explain what had happened. Instead of explaining, though, Sir Ector had his dogs chase Arthur out of their castle thinking he was actually a squirrel instead of his adopted son.
Once Arthur was chased out of the castle, he fled into a dark forest where he eventually changed back into his human form. Lost, alone, and more confused than ever, Arthur wandered through the forest until he found Black Castle. There he met Hiccup, who introduced him to Mother Gothel, and he was taken in to hone his shape shifting powers.
Family: None to speak of
Element: NA
Class: A wizard of sorts. He's mostly a shape shifter
Allies: Fellow wizards/witches
Enemies: Left for roleplay, but I don't think he'd take too kindly to werewolves trying to eat him if he got stuck in some random form.
Sample Post: Oh... not again!
It was bad enough Arthur had no idea how he even could transform in the first place. Getting out of being 'stuck' in a transformation was the worst! He had woken up that morning as a squirrel. This appeared to be his mind's favorite transformation, as he usually found himself being a squirrel over anything else. Why couldn't he be a bird for once? He would love to fly. But no, Arthur was a squirrel again. He was going to have to ask Gothel about how to change back... again. Hopefully, if he was lucky, no one would make fun of him for being stuck as a squirrel for the umpteenth time.
The squirrel-boy leaped down from his bed and began to make his way through the castle. This was absolutely humiliating! He could almost hear Wilbur laughing at him at that very moment. Hiccup and Rapunzel would probably sympathize with him again, but it was getting beyond ridiculous. How many times was Arthur going to be stuck in some form or another with no idea of how he got into it in the first place?
