Name: Rain
Age: 20’s in human years?
Movie/Show: Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Picture:
Other: Since she’s now a kelpie, she’s constantly wet with water weeds stuck in her hair. She’s still a pinto, but when she goes into full blown kelpie mode, her skin becomes adhesive and sticky and if she’s close to water she’ll get a tail like appendage which she’ll use to jump into a nearby body of water to drown her victims She also becomes blackish green and pretty friggin scary, nightmarish kind of. (Distorted figure) Also she’s able to talk once spoken to. Her skin is like a seals, but deathly cold to the touch.
Just some Kelpie info:
Personality: Rain is actually very gentle and kind, as a horse. She’s an enticing, beautiful mare who seems sweet, though she’s also cunning and tricky. The pinto has a kind air about her, but not to be fooled, once she becomes the kelpie she is, there’s no running. She becomes monsterish, aggressive, and carnivorous. A Dr. Jackel and Hyde sort of thing. Rain is merciful though, and will not torture her victims unless she needs to. She’s powerful and in a way, breathtaking, looking grand and graceful all while standing still. She’s stubborn, charming and strong willed though, and is able to keep herself from killing too often, and does not like to be addressed to lightly. Rain has a strong sense of loyalty though, to whoever holds her trust.
History:
Rain was owned by a Lakota Indian, Little Creek. From a yearling she was raised by the Indians and learned to be a part of their world. Humans became part of her own kind and she learned to treat them like her own. For her entire life, she had no desire to leave them, she’d given her life for these people and had no herd her own to travel with. The people were her herd and she stuck. One day, Little Creek didn’t return to her, and the mare was distraught, 3 days went by without him. The mare had followed others and had discovered her humans where abouts, but could do nothing. And than her human escaped on the back of an honory stallion, and called to her. Delighted, Rain came and Little Creek was switched to her back. The stallion, captured. With that, Rain returned to her normal life.
Little Creek insisted on the stallion though, and she was the one to teach him his place. The mare gave the stallion a tour into the life she’d learned and grew up with, and she’d thought he’d learned something. Her human turned him free though, delighted, Rain thought he’d stay. But he insisted on leaving, a subject she wasn’t comfortable with, she didn’t want to leave. But he would anyway, despite her own fears. She’d admit, she was close to going. The other humans came though, attacking her home. Turning back on their plan, the two headed to the Lakotas, Rain rushing to Little Creek’s aid. Down to the river, saving the Indian from a bullet, and falling into the rushing current, wounded. Spirit came in after her, but the stallion left unsuccessfully. He’d been unable to catch her in the current, and Rain headed on down a waterfall. The paint mare washed up on the pool’s banks, tired, defeated and injured. The bullet she’d taken had hurt and now Rain dealt with it. Spirit never came, Little Creek didn’t come to her aid. That night the meteor hit, a surging bright light, blinding her momentarily.
Strength was restored to her and the paint fought for her feet, standing tall, after dipping into the waters for a short time. She was dripping wet, water weeds and pebbles in her main. Something was different in her, and she knew it. Then the men came, the one with the magic sticks that shot pain. Her first instinct was to run, but an over whelming compulsion made her stay and whiny to them. The horses the men had spooked, skittering away and refused to go close to the soaking wet mare. Two men, abandoned their steeds and walked on, ropes in hand. Loosely, one was slipped over her neck, and still the mare stayed. The second, foolish, young man, came and petted her flank. Turning to him, the mare blinked and gestured to her side. The man, giddy with excitement went against his fellow’s warnings and got his clothes wet. His friend giving him a boost onto her back. Rain was sickeningly happy. The other man held tight to the rope around her throat. Rain did not like that, but didn’t argue. The man on her back gave a little kick, and Rain shifted. Her skin becoming sticky, gluing the rider to her back, her skin becoming death black, her slender, beautiful face turning into that of a nightmare. Kicking off the mare dove head first into the pool she’d laid in before. She ignored the gun shots that went behind her, the pressure from the rope around her neck lessened. The other soldier must have let go in fear. Wise to do so. The rider struggled for a while, but his lungs gave out and he proceeded to become the new kelpie’s first meal.
Family: N/A Maybe Little Creek if that counts
Class: Kelpie which is referred to as sometimes part of the fairy race and sometimes a water spirit/demon and a shapeshifter (horse-kelpie- sometimes water- attractive woman to lure victims, you can restrict these if you want just say the word :3 )
Allies: Spirit, Little Creek, open ( I was thinking if someone of high power aquires a kelpie bridle, she could become theirs and join the war like that? But before she'd probably just trick people passing by on their way to fights >:3 )
Enemies: The Colonel, open
Sample Post (Mandatory when applying for your 1st character. Optional after that.):
I think I’m going to opt out :/ No ideas and don’t want to get all gory since the only thing I could think of writing about is her eating someone xD

Just some Kelpie info:
- When it's victim's on it's back, it's skin become adhesive and sticky so the rider cannot get off
- Some myths a Kelpie's hooves face backwards
- If captured a Kelpie is said to be 10x stronger than a regular horse and is much faster with a higher endurance
- The key to taming a kelpie and shape shifting abilities, is it's bridle, if you have a kelpie bridle, if you have, and bridle a kelpie, it'll obey you... just keep the bridle on.
- They're kind of like shape shifters part of the fairy race and super... evil
- If the Kelpie has more than 1 victim, it's back grows longer to fit as many victims that want to ride it's back
- Drowns and eats it's victims
- Is always dripping wet and has water weeds/seaweed in it's mane and tail
- Normally white or black and live near bodies of water and appear to be lost horses
