Name: Rapunzel
Age: 18
Movie/Show: Tangled
Picture:
Other:
She hasn’t changed except the source of her powers is the magic inside her and is shown through her hair. So if she’s using healing magic, that’s her tell.
Personality:
Bright and bubbly, though she understands others. She has a useful knack when it comes to understanding animals. She is slightly timid in a sense, as she fears ruffians, thugs, and thieves, and fears that others might want to kidnap her for her hair. But past these fears, she's a curious young woman, wanting to see more of the world. She's quiet outgoing, and seems to do what others might not truly expect. It just seems to go with her. Rapunzel has since grown to learn to not fear much, realizing she has powers others do not.
History:
Since the falling star, or meteor she stood outside watching from her home, Rapunzel can’t remember much. From the bright flash of the star it’s a cloudy blur, only going to the time she found Mother Gothel. To her, Gothel was both mother and mentor, encouraging her to use her powers and tuning them like any musical instrument to create a fine melody. Since she was a mere child, it has been this way. She hasn’t questioned her mother/mentor, and dares not leave the kingdom which is now her home. The surroundings are much too scary for that. For all her 18 years she has not left, and for her 18 years all she’s ever done is tune her magical powers to their best. She’s a healing witch, her powers seeming to come from her core. It’s what she wants and all she must do is ask for the powers to surface (literally) and obey her will. She’s a good witch, almost angelic, her intentions mostly pure. She does wish to obey her mother, seeing as she believes mother always knows best.
For 18 years Rapunzel’s known nothing other than tuning and trying her powers, using them to her best advantages and controlling them. There isn’t much to know about her, the same scenery, the same pace. She’s only ever known the castle and the magic that circles it, nothing more. It’s a fact she’s been on okay terms with her entire life, yet at the time when she’s become a young adult, she’s seriously doubting her life’s teachings. She dares not make an advance on her own thoughts though, they are just opinions, poor ones at that. She believes Mother Gothel knows everything there is she needs to know and trusts her a lot of the time. It’s a weakness, but she’s a momma’s girl at heart.
Family:
Mother Gothel
Element: Spirit/Healing Magic
Class: Witch
Allies: Mother Gothel, Hiccup, witches/wizards, ltr
Enemies: left to rp
Sample Post:
"Okay... okay... uhm... uhm..." Rapunzel was racking her brains, what had Mother said? She was a spirit witch, she had all the things unseen that were not dark. Oh yeah!! A brief smile lifted Rapunzel's features. Dream walking. She had to focus, even her breathing in pace with that she wanted to intrude. She could taste the way the air moved on her unsuspecting target, she could taste the movement the same way you could taste what you've only smelled and easily distinguish it. She felt her breathing slow, her heart beat going from thumpity... thump...thump... thumpity to a slower thump...... thump...... thump..... repeatedly. With that, she slipped from consciousness to the dreams. The problem was, she couldn't quite remember who she'd targeted. She'd forgotten, and couldn't recall now in this state was an important lesson.
When going into dreams, she was to remember reality, to remember and run through all the things you'd need to know when falling into another's dreams. It was like dreaming your self, in a dream you don't recall what is you, and sometimes you can barely register the dream. It was the case in the dream walker. The magic was physically draining, and within the sleeping state, she could feel her own tangible, physical body weakening even in the spiritual state of dreams. A thin line, invisible yet strong like fishing wire holding her to it. With this, she surveyed the dream she'd appeared in.
Except, it wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare.
