((ooc: July 12th two days after Flynn appears in the tower, takes place in the tower early morning :3 Closed to Flynn, Rapunzel, and Hiccup for now. ))
Trust was something that needed to be earned. As far as the blonde was concerned though, Flynn had yet to earn her full and complete trust. He'd saved her life, was teaching her to fight, and part of her was getting a softer edge towards the man. Though she had yet to place full and complete trust in him. If that was it at all. Maybe it was some sort of fear. He was being held prisoner in her tower for a week, and two days in, not counting the first day and he was still here. Rapunzel liked to think that maybe it was her insistence on sleeping in the tower, her hair holding her in a makeshift hammock. Surprisingly comfortable as well. Golden hair draped over every raft and nearly every inch of the room, yet surprisingly untangled in large, messy knots. The main window was cracked open, the other windows in the tower open as well, left forgotten that night. The blonde liked to think of herself as a light sleeper, frying pan held lazily in one hand barely holding on. Though as the morning rays of sunlight streamed in from all the windows, the girl barely stirred.
Though as the sun positioned itself more closely to the girl, above her, shining through the windows, its hazy yellow beams grew stronger. The impression of the light left burning on the inside of her eye lids. Emerald eyes opened groggily to receive the new day, head raising from her arm. Legs from the curled fetal position she'd come to that night, pushing off a thin blanket and trying to adjust herself to a sitting up position. The sad thing though, was that hair came in strands, and was well, hair. When an elbow is applied directly to the bottom of it the surrounding hair moves and spreads to let the protruding appendage out. As a knee and heel is left wanting more space, blankets moved so that the hair had a nice shield, more space opens up. So as Rapunzel tried to avoid going through her own hair and having to deal with the knot that would surely come with it, she rolled off the side in a comical fashion and landed on her back with a loud 'thud.'
For a minute Rapunzel lay there, turning onto her side, trying to fight the adrenaline followed by the surprise of the fall and to lull back into a sleep. Her heart rate returned to normal, taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes. Nothing. She'd successfully been waken up not enough to be considered wide awake, but enough to not be able to fall asleep until later. Darn. So much for sleeping in.
The girl propped herself on her elbows, if that hadn't waken the entire place up. So now she'd just have to wait, until either Hiccup brought breakfast, seeing as the place had no stove nor kitchen of any kind. Deciding to make the most of it though, the girl moved to where she kept the waters. Grabbing one, a mischievous smirk lit her face. She seemed to be the first one to wake up, normally.
So with that, Rapunzel tip-toed to where the werewolf normally slept. Peeping her head through the door and around the corner, pushing her way quietly in, Rapunzel let loose a rain of the cold water, dashing back to her makeshift bed, leaping in and surrounding herself in blankets, as if to prove her own innocence. Closing her eyes shut and hiding the smile in her face with her hair, holding her breath, as not to laugh if/when the man appeared. Hopefully they could start the morning quite funny.

Much like a pet dog would, Flynn lay sound asleep on the floor with his legs splayed out in the most goofy way imaginable. On top of that, the werewolf was indeed in werewolf form. The night before he hadn't been able to get comfortable while human, and so he had shifted to his other form to accommodate for the fact that he was uncomfortable. Surprisingly, it had worked out very well. His fur had provided a sort of cushion for him as he lay on the floor and it also provided warmth, so he was doubly compensating for what had been a rather rough beginning to the night. That fact was far behind him at the present moment, though.
Flynn's leg twitched a bit and he moved slightly, a light snore coming from within his being as he shifted his position, and it appeared as though he was rather peaceful. Not threatening in the least aside from being in werewolf form. Not that Flynn was going to attack anybody right then. Being a prisoner hadn't changed his demeanor any. Flynn wouldn't have attacked Rapunzel or Hiccup, even if the latter of the two did annoy him like a brother would. In a strange sort of way, he supposed he was befriending them. However that worked. It didn't change the fact that he was stuck in the tower for... how much longer? Flynn would figure that out on his own time. At the moment, he was enjoying his sleep far too much to worry about that sort of thing.
Suddenly...
SPLASH!
Flynn felt himself suddenly become very wet, and that fact caused him to bolt up from his place on the floor and whip his head around a few times while sputtering a bit. When he failed to see what had caused his sudden rude awakening, Flynn shook his fur out and sent droplets of water flying everywhere. What time was it? Once he'd stopped shaking, he glanced around again to try and make the best judgment on the time. His best guess was very, very early.
"Well. So much for sleep." Flynn grumbled. There were two individuals that came to mind as potential suspects for this supposed crime, but only one lived up in the tower... so that ruled out Hiccup as a possibility. "And to what do we owe this pleasant awakening, Goldie?"

Well obviously the hiding plan hadn't worked. So Rapunzel gingerly left her bed, and turned the corner to see Flynn. As a werewolf, fluffy even though he seemed wet. Rapunzel shrugged to answer though, a smile spreading on her lips. "Well I woke up... Hiccup isn't here yet and I wasn't just going to sit around." She said taking a step forward and setting a hand on Flynn's fluffy, canine head. After a pat though, Rapunzel trotted away to the window, swinging it open, and becoming temporary blind by the light. A few bats of her eyelashes though and her eyes had adjusted.
"And it's a great morning, I didn't think you'd want to miss it." She joked, still half groggy herself with sleep. Rubbing her eyes, Rapunzel finally pushed away the sleep that still tried to hold on. With that, the girl was flitting around the tower, getting things ready, including multitasking of picking up things she must have accidentally knocked over in her sleep as a chain reaction of her long hair and brushing said hair.
"You should be thanking me too. It was either me or Hiccup who might wake you up. You sleep like a log." 'Goldie' chided, stopping briefly to look at the wolf at the tower. Talk about having the wolf at the door, she'd caught the wolf through the window and it was now a tenant in the tower. How would that ever fit with the metaphor? 'Keep the wolf from the door or let it in and feed it.' What would that ever mean metaphorically? Nothing probably. A teasing smile spread on her lips though. "You know I never had a dog growing up. I guess I know why, Mother didn't like them being so lazy." She mocked going back to sit on her makeshift hair hammock, now serving as a makeshift hair swing. The girl proceeded to than brush her long golden hair closest to her head, as if she was going to work down all 70ft. A very time consuming task if she said so herself. She fought the stomach rumble that urged her body to try and consume something, though seeing as there was no food in the general vicinity it was to be patient, awaiting Hiccup. Unless the red head found himself waking up so early the two tower dwellers were in for a nice wait. Part of the reason the window was open, in order to hear the red head and save some time and hard work coming up the stairs. Those things really hurt ones calves.

"I thought that was you." Flynn chuckled. He hadn't actually seen her hide, but his guess on it being her or Hiccup had been right. That much he felt good about. "Then again, who else would it have been in a tower seventy feet from the ground?" he asked. Probably no one. He'd gotten lucky and had managed to avoid being spotted by Rapunzel's mother or anyone outside of his little group of friends.
Flynn had to squeeze his eyes shut to keep from being blinded by the sudden flood of light. It wasn't any more pleasant than the water had been, that was for sure. Regardless, Flynn knew he couldn't just go back to sleep. Rapunzel would find some other way to wake him up. "Well, it comes with being like this I guess. Sleeping late is something I prefer." Flynn said. He didn't comment on the fact that he had been petted like a dog, though the fact that his ears went back seemed to speak for him. She really was intent on treating him like a dog, wasn't she? Not like Flynn could do anything about it. Attacking his hostess probably wouldn't have been a good idea. Especially after he'd gone to the trouble of saving her life.
Finding that wet fur wasn't all that pleasant to deal with, Flynn shifted back to human form and just kind of watched as Rapunzel brushed out her hair. It was an interesting sight, actually. Typically Flynn wouldn't spend all that much time grooming himself, and when he did the wind and other elements had a say in making sure that it didn't last long, so it was interesting watching someone actually take the time to brush their hair. So far it seemed like it was just the pair of them there. How long would it take Hiccup to get there? With that metal leg... well, Flynn didn't know exactly how long it would take the younger redhead to limp (hobble?) his way to the tower. In any case, it seemed like they had time to kill. So why not use it?
"So, what exactly do you have planned for today? Aside from dousing me with water just because I happen to like sleeping late." Flynn said. There was a hint of teasing in that tone, but it mainly was inquisitive. He really did want to know what Rapunzel had in store for him. After all, he was still technically her prisoner. He might as well talk some before finding out if Hiccup was coming or not. It was beginning to look like the redhead was trying to take his sweet time. Whether or not that was on purpose was something that had yet to be determined.

"Coulda been one of your werewolf friends." The girl teased moving to swiftly brush through her hair, gathering some and moving away from her comfy seat to bring others down from the rafters. He'd stated before no werewolves would come looking for him, and so far none had. It seemed he hadn't become to attached though and appeared rather distant, figuratively and literally. Whatever loot he would have found in the tower would have gone to himself. Selfish behavior, though Rapunzel saw it as a layer of fool's gold trying to discourage a miner from hitting the real gold beneath. How that phrase completely applied to the thief, especially in terms of value. Though the teen decided not to speak so out loud, no need to feed Flynn's ego.
Out of her peripheral vision she saw Flynn watch her as she brushed her hair, taking out the small knots that had dared form. An interested look across his face. Maybe she should offer him a brush? Smuggle him into the castle for some lesson on hygiene? Setting her own preening aside, the girl looked to Flynn as he asked the golden question. What had she had planned?
"Well aside from waking you up which was sort of spur of the moment, " she flashed a grin. "And breakfast, not much, maybe some more training us if your up for it." She said it as a challenge, as if to keep the thought enticing and not as a chore. "Maybe a lesson on personal hygiene." Rapunzel grabbed her nose between her index finger and thumb in a teasing way. It was odd how the two, captive and captor, seemed to be generally friendly to one another. "And start day 1 of thieving rehab." Rapunzel then continued to brush her hair, as if awaiting the groan or cocky scoff. She had little idea of how that was to start and would probably rely on Hiccup for some creative ideas. Heavens knew he thought messing with the older man was hilarious. Rapunzel would just have to tweak whatever plans to better fit their needs. She of course planned more questioning, after all you didn't wake up one day and decide to pick pocket and expand to stealing much larger things. Something similar to an Oliver Twist story seemed more appropriate to her.
"Unless you've got anything else to add to the agenda?" Rapunzel asked, genuinely curious to see if the thief had any input. She'd expect the jabs of freedom, though after the incident on the first day was very opposed to having him leave the castle on any ideas of his own. He was nice... though cunning and Rapunzel had no doubt that if he wanted an escape he'd have a plan concocted. Rapunzel though, on a hunch, didn't believe he had such intentions. A blind hope maybe?

"Hey. It's a manly musk." Flynn retorted. He rather liked the smell, thank you very much. Not that anyone was asking for his opinion in the first place. No one seemed particularly interested in what he thought on the matter, anyway. He ran a hand through his hair in an attempt to straighten it out, finding it not nearly as effective as a hair brush would have been, before folding his arms across his chest. Somehow he had figured there wouldn't be all that much out of the ordinary planned. He would just have to get creative with training and figure out just what she meant by 'thief rehabilitation'. "Besides, no one's ever objected to how I look or smell before. Why should anyone start now?" he asked. A fair question, really. Since no one in his pack particularly cared about appearances, it hadn't bothered Flynn all that much. Not even the Stabbington Brothers had cared that much. Why start then?
"And just when is that stick of a teen going to get here? Don't tell me he's sleeping late, too." Flynn said. If Hiccup was privileged enough to sleep in, Flynn would definitely have something to complain about. Never mind the fact that Hiccup probably needed his rest. Flynn wanted to complain about being rudely awakened, and he might as well use Hiccup as that sort of leverage.
It appeared Flynn had received an answer sooner than he had expected. His finer wolf senses, namely hearing, had picked up the sound of odd footfalls outside. One sounded normal enough, but the other sounded like something metallic clinking against the ground. Step. Clink. Step. Clink. Step. That pattern was recognizable enough. Flynn would have to be some kind of crazy not to guess that it was Hiccup. Who else would have had a second step that sounded different from their first?
"Scratch that last question. I think I hear him." Flynn said. Before Rapunzel could ask how he could do that, he gestured to his ears. "Keen wolf hearing. It comes in handy."
----
Flynn was right about the fact that he had been able to hear Hiccup coming. The teen had been a bit held up by something after initially waking up, hence the delays. The delay had actually been Gothel asking him about what he remembered happening during his part of the fighting in the first battle. As per usual, Hiccup had only been able to reply with the basics; he'd been there accidentally, fought a demon, and the rest was a blur. Regardless of that fact, Hiccup had succeeded in gaining Gothel's permission to visit Rapunzel. It turned out the raven-haired woman was fairly lenient on allowing Hiccup to go places. So long as he didn't stray outside the boundaries of the general area known to be witch and wizard territory, and so long as he gained her permission, he was good to go. So after gaining her permission, Hiccup had headed to the kitchen.
Why the kitchen? Well, that was simple enough. Hiccup was hungry. Starving, even. The night before he had been foolish enough to skip dinner, and that had led to him waking up very hungry. The problem was that he only had one arm to work with, and he knew Flynn and Rapunzel would probably want something to eat as well. So getting the food to where it needed to go had proven to be an interesting task in and of itself. In the end, Hiccup had resorted to getting a basket and putting what he could carry inside it. The end result had been muffins and fruit for the most part, but he had managed to convince himself that making a little bit of warmer food wouldn't have been a bad idea. So had begun the young Viking's endeavors in the kitchen.
After what had felt like an eternity, Hiccup had finally gotten out of the castle with his basket in hand. Inside were various muffins, fruits, plates, utensils, and a couple of containers. One contained freshly made scrambled eggs while the other had bacon. Hiccup felt rather proud of himself, actually. For his first attempt at cooking, he hadn't actually done that badly. The hard part had been heading out of the castle with his food without attracting too much attention. Angel's attention he had gotten briefly, but she'd been shooed away easily enough. All he had to do after that was head toward the tower.
At long last, the teen made his way to his destination. Once he had arrived, he came to a stop and looked upward. "Rapunzel! I'm here!"

Rapunzel gave Flynn a doubtful look. Musk? More like Musk Ox... She actually had plenty of reason why he should start. First being fleas were not welcome in the castle, and that maybe, just maybe, those pine trees had strong enough sense to hide the smell of this so called 'Manly Musk.' She was actually about to open her mouth and speak such, and give at least 4 other reasons. Though the announcement of Hiccup, had flying to the window with a handful of hair. The golden locks began to billow down and seemed to be growing from the tower window, coming to a stop before the ground, golden locks and green grass trying to end the space held between one another, but never getting the chance to touch.
Rapunzel hands than went flying, adjusting her hair so it hung from a new and improved hook. She waited approximately a minute, enough time to secure food and himself, and began to slowly bring her hair up. Enough time that if he wasn't secure, he'd be able to make some last minute adjustments without having threatened by an increasingly high drop to his doom. Her eyebrows knitted together in concentration, lips a thin line as she pulled. Hiccup wasn't heavy, at least he himself wasn't. Add the leg, food, and the grand distance between them and Rapunzel had to keep her concentration. If she didn't... well maybe there would be a surprising, drop before she regained her bearings. The blonde was confident though and felt his presence getting increasingly close. So as the red head seemed to come up and over the edge, Rapunzel relieved him of the food. It smelt AH-MAZING!
So as Rapunzel relied on Flynn to help Hiccup haul himself up and over the ledge and she began setting out the food on three plates and a handful of utensils lying around. All seeming nice and clean, Rapunzel looking exceptionally proud of the layout, and increasingly hunger. Inhaling the air, and she couldn't fight the low growl of her stomach, and couldn't help the slight blush that crept to her cheeks at the guttural sound.
"Thank you Hiccup!! It smells wonderful! I bet it tastes just as good!" she cheered enthusiastically, drawing attention to the food all of them would probably be very grateful for.

Okay, scratch what Hiccup had previously told Astrid about climbing trees being the closest they would ever get to flying. As he took hold of his friend's hair, making sure that he and his basket were both securely in place, he realized that being pulled upward seventy feet was pretty close to achieving his dream. Well... in terms of height, anyway. It was a long way down, and he definitely didn't want to fall down there. Not with his current condition, anyway. He silently wondered how Rapunzel was able to even manage it. He wasn't significantly heavy, excluding the added weight of his prosthetic and the food, but it still seemed like a difficult task. But that didn't matter. At long last, he had reached his destination and made it inside the room.
The compliment regarding the food was, of course, well received. Scrawny Viking grinned from ear to ear and finally set down the basket containing their breakfast. "It's no problem. I just thought... you know, I might as well make us something to eat. So I attempted cooking." Hiccup said. Hopefully the endeavor had been worth it. He'd never attempted it before, so the results would be interesting. He knew he hadn't burnt anything at the very least. "We got bacon, eggs, muffins, and I threw some fruit in there too." Hiccup said.
"So... you got your daily dose of exercise carrying all of that?" Flynn asked with a smirk. It was obvious the teenager was rather scrawny. How much could he lift, anyway? The displeased expression from Hiccup signaled that Flynn probably shouldn't go any further with that line of thought. "What? I'm just saying you're not exactly muscular." he said.
"Thank you for summing that up." Hiccup retorted. He should have known that Flynn would start up the instant he showed up, but he could at least retort. So he had some defense. "Anyway, I was thinking after we have breakfast that maybe we should start working on Flynn's... rehabilitation, I guess. However that's going to work." he said. He really had no idea how they were supposed to train a thief to not be a thief. It would be interesting, that much he knew for certain.

Rapunzel rolled her eyes as the two males started fighting. It had become a somewhat natural routine. They'd started bickering as if they had never... not bickered. Two brother who'd taken a brief break and were at it again. To her dismay... or pleasure. It seemed that the more the two argued or teased the easier the atmosphere was around them and, dare she think the more comradery they all felt to one another strengthened? Instead of commenting on this though, she made an "mmm" sound after Hiccup had listed all the food, settling down and grabbing a muffin.
She carefully edged some eggs onto her plate with her fork, grabbing a string of bacon and chewing it slowly as she rolled an apple onto the plate. "Forget magic, you should cook." She teased satisfied with the crunch of bacon in her mouth as she took a second bite. None of the food was burnt, an added plus, none of it seemed damaged from the perilous walk to the tower and up her cascading blonde hair. All of it was delicious. She let the two tease one another briefly as she took a bite of each item on her plate, only looking up at Hiccup's suggestion.
"I think you've started reading minds." she joked, nodding in agreement. A small plan forming in her head. She was a fairly good actress.. Years of nodding and looking earnest before her Mother was worth something right? She'd see soon enough though. She trusted Hiccup though to read the thoughtful, if only a tad mischievous expression that crossed her face as she momentarily, slowly chewed a bite of apple.
She beckoned the two though to grab some plates and eat. No devious plot could be devised on an empty stomach now could it?

It was hard to suppress the giddy sort of grin on his face in that moment. He had actually succeeded in making something edible, and that was more than enough reason for happiness in the young Viking's mind. Especially since his fire powers weren't progressing quite as well as he (or Gothel) would have liked. "Finally, some success that doesn't immediately blow up in my face! Thank you, gods." Hiccup said. He hadn't even thought that Rapunzel had been thinking along the same lines as him, so he was a little surprised by her remark about his being able to read minds. As he moved to join her in partaking in their breakfast, he shrugged a little. "Great minds think alike, I guess." he said.
Flynn appeared just a little skeptical at first, but in the end hunger won out and he was forced to comply to the will of his stomach. He followed behind Hiccup and, while the redhead was placing eggs and fruit on his plate, snuck up behind the shorter teen and snatched up a handful of bacon. Forget the vegiterian-esque food. Hungry carnivore was hungry! With that, and barely catching a sort of 'Are you serious?' look from Hiccup from the corner of his eye, Flynn sat down to enjoy his bacon. The first bite was all he really needed to confirm that Rapunzel had been right. Lousy mage Hiccup might have been, but he was a fairly talented cook for having only attempted it once.
"Okay. No idea how you pulled it off, but this is pretty damn good bacon." Flynn finally said. He had been thinking about what the pair of magic users had said in regards to taming him and contemplated further it as he munched on his bacon. What exactly did the pair have in mind for him? "As for this whole taming business, wouldn't it be much easier if we did it out-"
"Nice try, but you're not getting out of here that easily." came the snide interruption from Hiccup. He didn't know why, but he was loving seeing Flynn squirm beneath his little taunting retort. Maybe there was something to this banter with Flynn that he hadn't thought of. The idea of having a male figure around that didn't want to pulverize him, aside from Wilbur, hadn't exactly been one that Hiccup thought of often. Now that he had it to think about, it was surprisingly pleasant to think of. He shook that thought away with a tiny shake of his head and smirked just a little as he placed a bit of bacon and a chocolate chip muffin on his plate. "I'm afraid you're stuck with us in here." he snickered.
Flynn looked less than impressed. However, he didn't comment on it and instead shrugged a little before taking another bite of bacon. "Okay. In that case, what do you two have in mind?"
