((Well, they are! Open only to Chase and Kimiko for now. After a couple of pages a few fairies and demons can jump in, but remember this thread is meant to be relativelty peaceful, set a day before The Meeting.))
The little fairy flopped down onto the soft welcoming grass. Her sister had been working her to death. Apperantly something had happened but wouldn't tell her what. Now there was some huge meeting she couldn't even go to...Musa was treating KImiko like a child. It wasn't fair! She was an adult...she was a fairy damn it, she could protect herself and she certainly wasn't a little kid!
Though she had to admit she was grateful for all the extra training. She was getting a lot more control over her fire. Now she could put them out when she inadvertantly started them. She rolled over onto her stomach, her fairy form gone, a stylish cropped tee and jeans in it's place. She stared at her reflection in the water. Her hair was down today, something that was very rare for her.
Her blue eyes widened slightly. Her ears may not have been as finely tuned as her sisters (understandable, as she wasn't the fairy of music). but she distinctly heard heavy footsteps. Her sisters paranoia had caused her to be fairly cautious, so her hands lit themselves up as she sat in an upward position.
"Who's there?" She asked, slightly defensive.

Golden eyes flashed as the boy stepped out of the shadows. "Calm down, didn't mean to scare you." Chase said giving her a smirk. "Didn't think that you would get spooked so easily though, it seems that i was wrong." he replied. He had never met many fairies, well besides the nympth but really there wasn't much of a chance of seeing another one.
He glanced around the lake with a smirk. "Have you been training?"

Kimiko calmed down the his voice. She looked him over, wondering what he was. However she stopped at his eyes. The eyes that she would have thought attractive under any other circumstances, the eyes of a demon, there was no other explaination. Her eyes narrowed slightly, though she said nothing about her revalation. "I wasn't spooked." She said matter of factly, putting her deflamed hands on her hips. "I just wasn't expecting anybody, that's all."
At his question she raised an eyebrow. "Is it that obvious?" She asked. THough it probably was with how hard her sister was working her.

Chase smiled at this, at least she was willing to admit that she wasn't scared. That was the last thing that anyone should ever do in a prescenes of a demon, more importantly never do it in front of him. "Not really, i just noticed that a few of the trees branches are burned to crisp. But compared to how many you have killed off a few days ago you have improved."
He watched everyone, but something about her interested him more, he had not been apart of killing of one of her kind's relatives but something about seeing her made him feel a bit of regret.
All was fair in war. Or in his mother's case, cause chaos whenever possible.

She laughed when he pointed out the scortched trees around them. She'd really done a number on the forrest. She'd have to apologize to some nature fairies later, that was for sure. "It's not like I can help it." She said. "My sister ordered round the clock training, something big is going on and she won't even tell me what." She said. She didn't even know why she was telling him all of this, but for some reason she didn't care. She wanted to complain so she did. However, what he said next had her staring slightly wideyed at him.
"Have you..have you been watching me or something?" She asked raising an eyebrow. Stalker much? she contemplated telling her sister, but she'd flip and kick this guy out of their land. For some reason she didn't really want that...

"I watch everyone." Chase replied. "I am not a stalker if that's what you think. I have just never seen a fire fairy with powers like yours." the boy looked around for a moment. "I have no doubt that you will be very powerful once you get those powers in check."
That much was true after all. He couldn't lie, it was impossible, so it was up to her if she wanted to believe him

She raised an eyebrow at the demon prince, but his answer seemed to satisfy her...for now. "And why do you watch people?" She asked curiously. It was funny, her sister always said to never trust a demon, never turn your back on them or they'd stab you in the back. But she was having no trouble communicating with this mysterious demon. Maybe she and Musa had been wrong. Or maybe they were right and he was the exception. Or maybe they were right and he was only using her. Nevertheless, she found herself drawn to him in some way. It didn't quiet make sense to her either, but she didn't question it. If worse came to worse she could fend for herself, althoughs he had no idea how far the extent of his skills actually went. "Hey, my powers are in check!" She said defensively. "I just can't control the fires that I make..." She said, muttering under her breath.
"So...are you going to tell me your name or should I just call you Mr. Demon?" She asked smirking slightly. She had never payed much attention to any race that was not her own, so she had no idea she was speaking with the prince of demons.

"Mr. Demon, while that does have quite a nice ring to it, i would prefer my actual name." he said. "It's Chase, Chase Young." he replied. Unlike some of the other demons he could understand humans and their personalities. "I watch them because i find them to be...interesting. The human race in general is very...intriging."
he replied. "Now, what about you? What's your name?" he asked. "I can't really call you Fire Fairy."

Chase...that sounded vaugely familiar, but she couldn't place it. She shrugged it off for now. His explaination seemed to be enough for her. She'd never met a demon that was so interested in humans. She thought all demons despised humans, or anything that wasn't a demon, really. She didn't know why demons acted the way they did, but it'd never cross her mind to just watch them to see what they're like and what they do. She still found that fact rather odd, but she could see the logic behind it.
"You can call me Kimiko." She said smiling slightly. "I can't believe I'm saying this to a demon of all people but...it's nice to meet you, Chase."

"The pleasure is mine Kimiko." Chase said, finally being able to relax, as much as he would have loved to fight someone at that moment, he didn't want to fight her. Not without a right to anyways, she meant no harm to him. "Can't say that people are always happy to see me, so it is quite the nice chance of pace."
(ooc: i forgot how much fun it is to write for this guy)

"That might be due to the fact that you're a demon." She said, before realising how that migth have sounded. "I mean...it's just they have a bit of a bad reputaion. My sisters hatred of them has certainly gotten stronger over the past few days..." She said. Speaking of which, she wondered what would happen if Musa caught he rout here right now. She'd probably kill the poor guy.
"I get where you're coming from though. I love the ther fairies and all, but sometimes talking about glitter and sparkly things loses it's appeal." She said dryly.

He clenched his teeth for a moment. Damn. He forgot about her sister. "Yes, well i suppose most people have a reason for hating my kind, they seem to have a magnetic quality to it. Not that i blame them." he shrugged. "Demons have always been the source of trouble over the years."
He chuckled at her mention of glittery things. It did seem a bit odd that most of the faires were...girly. "You aren't like most of the fairies i have seen though. You aren't all about the sparkles. you have potential."

Huh, demons may have been evil but at least they were honest. She expected them to defend their race, not agree that they were mischievous and evil. If all demons were like he was maybe they weren't all bad. Though she doubted this. They didn't get their nasty reputation for no reason. Then again if they all believed in the stereotypes of other races Tinkerbelle would be flying around her making people fly.
"I'll take that as a compliment." She said "Nothing against fairies of course, I just don't want to be exactly like everybody else." Not that she ever was, what with her fiery temper and odd hair colors. "Potential for what?" she asked curiously.

"But isn't that a good thing?" Chase asked looking at her for a moment. "Not being like everyone else just shows how great you can become without getting in the way of being just like everyone else. How dull." he muttered before looking at his nails. "Potentinal to become a strong fighter, not many people have the will or the strength the way you do to become great and powerful. It takes great courage to stand up against your weaknesses."

“I never said it was a bad thing.” She said. “I like being different. My sister says I shouldn’t try and stand out too much, being a princess and all, but I like it.” She said with a shrug. In reality Musa was just as fun and carefree as she was, but being queen had made her become so serious sometimes. She guessed it was just some Queen thing. Because she was only next in line, possibly more is Musa decided she wanted kids, she didn’t feel the same pressure she did.
“Thanks…” She said, slightly stunned he’d paid her such a compliment. “You know you’re not at all like the other demons.”
