(ooc: Bah. Crappy title is crappy. XP Anyway, the date is July 2. An introduction thread for Natalia to join the fairies. Open to all fairies.)
The flight from Baticul had been long and arduous, but somehow Natalia had succeeded in making her way from her home and to the unknown land before her. She had landed some time ago and was giving her wings a rest, something she had never thought she would even have considered before, as she began to make her way through the forest. Green eyes were full of curiosity and wonder. Never before had the Princess seen a land like the one she had stumbled upon as a result of exhausted wings. It was so beautiful and untamed, and yet had a touch of tameness to it that made it feel habitable. It was nothing like Baticul, that much was certain. The curious Princess had yet to even see any signs of life as she made her way onward.
As she walked, Natalia adjusted the positioning of her quiver and let her wings flap just a little with each new placement. It had been an awkward thing, carrying her quiver full of arrows with her new wings to worry about, but somehow she had succeeded in achieving her goal. As more time passed, though, Natalia found her legs starting to give in to exhaustion of their own. It had been a long time coming and while she did have stamina to spare she supposed the flight had drained her more than she would have liked. At length, Natalia found herself removing her quiver from her back and setting it down near a rock as she sat down to rest.
"My... I didn't expect to have worn myself out this quickly." Natalia murmured. Now that she was resting, though, it gave the Princess the opportunity to take another look around the forest. It was so peaceful that she was beginning to have doubts about whether or not anyone else would be there at all. Somewhere in the back of her mind, though, was the suspicion that perhaps she was not alone. Even with that, though, Natalia didn't speak again. She wanted to see if something, or someone, really would come out to greet her.
