Likely Allies [Open]

[Rex]

ooc: Takes place day after Sound the Drums of War. Open to all fairies, nympths and so forth. However, the first few pages are just for Rex, and Musa, or Kimiko if she wants to interact with a demon hunter. Set around midafternoon)

Rex had never been nervous talking to people he was sure were on his side. Especially fairies, he knew fairies, he had gotten along with Lindsay really well too. After all, they were kind of seeing each other, at least that's what Rex thought. So, then why did he seem so nervous when he approached the Queen of the Fairies house? It didn't make sense to him but the hispanic boy wanted to do this.

He hadn't told Xia about it, and he was pretty sure that seh would figure it out eventually. If he could help anyone in this war it would be between his brother and the fairies, that was probably it. The battle had probably hit them hard the most.

Worry filled his eyes when he saw one of the familar faces from the battle flinching with a few steps and flapping her wings. All battered and done by demons no doubt.

"Just do what you have to, if she says no then fine." he said to himself before knocking on the head fairy's door.

[Musa]

Damn. The spell fixed her torn wing and she still hurt like hell. She couldn't believe she hadn't been able to hurt him worse than she had. Her sister had been in an awefully bad mood lately, and by assosiation so was she. The Tohomiko girls were no fun when they were angry, that was a fact. But this time it seemed as though she was angry at her she refused to talk about it for some odd reason, but she supposed the fire fairy would come around when she felt like it, she always did. The queen rubbed her left shoulder, trying to make the ache go away.

She sat down for a second before a knock came to the door. "I swear Kim, if this is one o fyour lame friends I'm going to hurt you." She mumbled before getting up and opening the door, putting on a happy face, even though she was rather annoyyed with recent events. No need to take it out on some unfortunate fairy. However, when she opened the door she was surprised to see a young man. She recognized him from the meeting. They had been relatively on the same page regarding the war: the demons did it and there was no question about it. He looked nervous for some reason.

"You okay, kid?" She asked as she raised an eyebrow. "What can I help you with?"

[Rex]

Rex bit his lip for a moment. Were demons just that bad? The queen of fairies looked like hell. and not in a good way either. "I think I am better than you guys are." Rex said. "I came with a request actually, i am normally not used to talking to queens and stuff so its kind of well a new experience."

[Musa]

Despite it being obvious that the fairies were worse off than most of the armies, Musa’d never admit it to herself or anybody else. So being told so by a teenaged boy didn’t exactly brighten her mood. Yesterday had been brutal for her and the other fairies. While Musa’d managed to do a number on Chase it wasn’t without retaliation. She’d hit him and he’d hit back tenfold. Kimiko and Dawn looked awful when they returned too. She had to use what was left of her inner strength just so she wouldn’t tell Kimiko “I told you so.” Although she had to say she was impressed by the move she’d seen her do. That had to take a lot of power. Unfortunately She’d also managed to lose a good portion of her power after that, leaving her with nothing but her wit to defeat the vampire. As you can imagine it did not go well. She raised an eyebrow when he spoke again. A request? What could she possibly offer him? Rex flinched for a moment realizing his mistake at commenting about how bad that the fairies looked right now. He didn't mean to say it so bluntly but the fact was, it was one of his flaws to say things he didn't mean. "I was going to ask if we could be considered allies for this war." the boy said with a bit more confidence. "We both hate the demons and i think we can both use all the help we can get if we want this war to blow over peacefully."

and this is why you should never talk to royalty he thought for a moment before turning to Musa. "What do you say?"

The offer wasn't out of the question, she'd be rather greatful for another ally in this war. While the fairies were war from "Public Enemy # 1" they weren't doing very good. However, Musa was a proud one, and wouldn't look too excited at the prospect of another ally. Instead she nodded nonchalantly and looked him up and down, as if to inspect him. "I guess that depends. Now that was a question he could answer. "Of course i can hold my own against one. I am a demon hunter after all. I have at least killed several though, the ones i have aren't as bad as these new ones, they are more human than i want them to be." the boy smiled a friendly smile. "and I promise that i won't allow any demon to harm you or your people. They will have to go through me to do so."
