(ooc: July 15, open to demons. This is to introduce Mimi and possibly Sayaka, it is only open to demons and their allies.)
Blue pigtails bounced up and down as young Mimi approached the big castle. Her red eyes wide with excitement and nervousness. "You can do this Mimi, surely you can find someone who will help you." she breathed in and out quietly before pushing the door open and walking inside.
The maiden was not used to being in such a big castle, it was almost very creepy to be around others so long. "H-hello." she called out nervously. "I am looking for the one in charge here."
When silence answered her, Mimi felt angry and tried louder. "Hellllooo!"

Well, look, a stray. A dark figure chuckled from the shadows, then the cound disappeared. A transparent form rose from the floor behind the girl. He stood there for about a second before speaking. "And what do you think you're doing?"
The transparent thing became.... well, parent. Dan Phantom grinned wickedly as he flashed his fangs and his reptillian tongue.

Mimi turned around and stared at the person or rather...ghost in front of her. She had never met a demon like him before and needless to say she was very impressed but his quesiton caused her eyes to narrow. "I am looking for the owner of this wonderful castle, and i don't suppose you would be it would you?" she sniffed ."I would prefer someone that's alive."

Dan scowled. This chick was seriously some kind of crazy. He floated in mid-air, then circled her. "Might want to be careful. I'm not dead, just missing that one crucial part."
He chuckled, then started to gloat. "I'm one of the strongest demons here. But, as for who owns the castle, that would be..."
----
"Eris. Your Queen. Don't forget that Dan." Van Kleiss stepped out from the shadowed hallway as the window on his left showed a darkening sky as lightning flashed and thunder crashed.
"I take it that you are the new help? Welcome to Black Castle, the operations base of the demons. And don't mind Dan, he likes to scare the new arrivals. We think of it as a rite of passage. Whoever is able to stand up to him is certainly the type of people we're looking for. Follow me." He turned and started walking down the hallway.
"After all, terror is his specialty, but it seems that you're not the easily scared one. Perfect." The gargoyles overhead were illuminated in the flash of lightning, then faded into the darkness. A shadow seemed to cross the entrance of the hall, but it must only be a trick of the dim light.
"We needed someone of your talents and I'm thankul that you recieved our mental prodding. This place is large and is always in need of cleaning, so whoever disobeys us usually haves to do the chores. These demons in particular may be joining you every day." He beckoned for her to come along quicker as he opened a door, the one that led into the library.
"Thankfully, once its cleaned, it takes much to dirty the whole thing up, so your chores should be minimal."

Mimi frowned a bit in Dan's direction as she followed Van Kleiss. He seemed like a well-balanced man. Which was good considering she didn't want all the other allies to be as...weird as Dan. "Well, yes i am the new help. But i discovered some strange powers of mine a few days ago and i thought that the demons would be the one group that could help me." she frowned. "The rest though is a bit blurred. Can't say i really remember anything after the meteor shower."

Dan followed the two, still floating, but in a reclined position, not really wanting to work that hard. He smirked at the rite of passage thing. At least something he did around here was useful. "Yeah, those chunks of rock pretty much screwed everyone up."
---
Van Kleiss nodded. "Yes, although some of us already had our 'gifts'. Those 'chunks of rock' just strengthened them."
He opened the door and led the two inside. Van Kleiss quickly sat down at a small desk, lighting a candle with a little help from Dan's 'hair'. "I hope you don't mind, but I already ascertained in advance who was going to come here by the use of an old woman with the gift of sight, so I knew what information that needed to be filled out."
He slid a small contract to her. "The job is quite easy and is as follows. General clean-up of each bedroom before noon, then cook lunch, cook dinner, and be on call for any of the soldier's needs. We have already discussed with them that they do not have to call you unless its to request a meal, drink, or they require assitance cleaning up a mess they made, in which they will help clean up. THis will only be temporary and will remain as the way to do it unless we recieve more cooking and cleaning staff in the future. And as we only have about twelve soldiers at the moment, I don't think that cooking will be that much of a problem."
---
Thrax watched from the doorway, a small smirk on his face. The little maid looked cute, and she was going to be around for quite a while it seemed. So, that meant that he would have plenty of time to get to know her better. He gave a small chuckle. She wouldn't be able to resist his charms. He entered the room, still grinning darkly, his shades making him look sinister in the darkness. "Too bad, I would love to have you around helping me with my daily needs......"

"Well, well. What do we have here?"
Legretta had just entered the area shortly after Dan and Van Kieiss had, and her attention had been focused on Mimi the whole time. The girl seemed rather out of place among the tougher, sterner demons that resided in the castle. In a way, she reminded her of Ion with his naive, innocent ways. Legretta silently was doubting whether or not Mimi would last long in their ranks. However, she looked like she wanted to stick around so she decided not to say anything about that fact. The blonde demon approached, her usual critical eye present the whole while, and looked Mimi over once more. It seemed as though the newcomer had at least passed muster enough for Legretta to not put her down entirely, as Legretta's eyes appeared less cold than they usually did.
"Your guess is as good as mine as to where Eris is. I've been here for at least a week or so now and have yet to see even an inkling of her." Legretta said. Maybe this new girl wouldn't be so bad. Maybe...
No. Stop that, Legretta. She won't be nearly as good a student as Tear was.
Something in her silently wondered if maybe Mimi would need some sort of guidance while she adjusted to her new home. A sort of teacher to fill her in on being a demon. Part of Legretta wanted her to be that tutor. Like she had been for Tear. However, the stubborn part of the blonde demon refused to say such a thing out loud. She instead held out her hand to Mimi in greeting. "Allow me to at least introduce myself. I'm Legretta." she said.

Mimi's eyes lit up at the huge room before turning to see two more demons. Her cheeks turned bright red at Thrax's flirting, she knew it when she saw it. "Um, thank you but i can do just fine on my own." she twisted her apron in discomfort. However, the new woman seemed to be much nicer. "It's nice to meet you Miss Legretta. I'm Mimi!" she said quickly bowing in nervousness.
--- "Wow, Miss Legretta. that's a new one. Never heard one call her that before." Izaya smirked as he appeared behind Legretta. "Normally people just call her Hothead or Fairy Killer." he said. "But me personally i prefer just Blondie."

"Is being an irritant all you're good at?" Legretta asked. Her bandaged arm was proof enough of the fact that something had happened to her. She hadn't made mention of the fact that the kelpie had been the one to really kill Stella. In fact, Legretta hadn't even mentioned that much to anyone. She'd only said she'd fought a fairy and poisoned her. She'd left what had happened to Stella to the imagination of the other demons. In the end, though, Legretta rolled her eyes a little. Leave it to Izaya to make himself an annoyance.
"This pest is Izaya. Any feelings of annoyance around him are perfectly normal." Legretta said. "And at least I have a kill under my belt. The best you've done is cripple a wizard after being burned by him. Assuming he didn't die after that." she sneered. The younger demon obviously brought out the worst in Legretta. Usually she was calmer. More reserved. Izaya succeeded in bringing out some of the emotions she tried to hide as a soldier. Some might have thought she was hotheaded because of that. It was quite the opposite, really... but no one needed to know that.

Mimi didn't like Izaya the moment he walked in the room so when Legretta told him that it was normal to feel agitated around him then it made her feel better. "Glad to know that this arrogant jerk doesn't deserve my help."
"Arrogant jerk?" Izaya smirked once again. "Haven't heard that one since i was what five years old. and as for you Miss Hothead, so what if i didn't kill him. It's not my job to kill him, just hold him back. Besides the little brat was asking for it." he smirked. "but then again i guess you could do anything for a kill right?" he shrugged. 'you are just a woman after all."
Mimi having heard enough and being thankful to Legretta for helping her with her problem, clenched her fist and slapped the boy across the face. "How dare you! Just because she's a woman doesn't mean she can't kick your sorry butt back to the Underworld." her eyes urged with fury. "I may be a lower rank than you but i will refuse to work for anyone that disrespects my superiors. So i suggest you never disrespect my masters or mistress again. Or you will regret it."

Legretta's eyes narrowed dangerously and she brought her hand to one of her guns, but as she gripped the handle she caught what Mimi had said. Her eyes, which had been flickering between blue and red from annoyance, settled with the calm blue that was her natural look and widened with surprise. The newcomer was standing up for the pair of them? It went without saying that Legretta was surprised by that fact. She had been perfectly capable of standing up for herself, and yet Mimi willingly had stepped in to say something. Admittedly, Legretta was touched by the action. No one would have done that other than Tear or Van.
"Let's get one thing straight. As far as I'm concerned, my rank as Major still holds. So long as that holds, you have no right to speak in such a manner to me." Legretta said. Her eyes had narrowed again, but they remained blue and calm. "Whether or not you give a damn about your own kills doesn't matter to me. But you still have no right to speak that way to a superior." she said.
"As for you," Legretta turned her attention to Mimi again. Her eyes went back to their normal state and she let her arms go back to her sides. "...No one else here would have ever said anything like that in my defense. So, I thank you for that." Legretta said at last. Maybe she would have made a good pupil after all. Nothing like Tear, but Legretta did have hope for her.

Mimi turned back to Legretta. "It is my duty as a maid and friend of demons to respect them Mistress." the girl said with a big smile. "Even if one happens to be as arrogant as this fool i will not stand for anyone to hurt one of my own." she glared daggers at Izaya who just smirked from his spot. "As i said, i live to serve my kind. I do not take kindly to insults like the one Mr. Izaya has thrown at you."

She was only a maid? Somehow this surprised Legretta. She had assumed she was a new recruit. Admittedly, she was a bit embarrassed to even reveal that she had been mistaken about that fact. Still, Mimi had at least proven she was loyal even though she was only a mad. That much Legretta appreciated. "Even if you weren't a mad, I would still appreciate your loyalty." Legretta told her. She hadn't seen such devotion from anyone other than Tear before then. It was refreshing to see such loyalty.
"I think you're going to fit in here just fine, Mimi." she said at length. It was the truth, too. Legretta did believe that the younger demon would do all right... even if she was just a maid. Maybe she really could offer assistance to the young girl. She would need to learn to defend herself sooner or later, right? "If you ever need any assistance, I'll be around. I'm not a stranger to teaching, so I'd be willing to teach you if you needed me to." she said.

"From what i remember, i was once a maid. Before the shower hit, after that everything was just...gone. I can't remember a thing Miss." Mimi said bowing again. "Then a few days ago, i discovered these." she took a deep breath and clear luminscent wings appeared behind her back. I can also make people's worst fears come to life. I figured i wasn't a witch so I came here."

Van Kleiss rubbed his chin. The girl seemed strong and was already starting to put Izaya in his place. That was good, considering the cat demon was an arrogant son of a- But, then again, she looked like she could belong with the Angels. No matter, a demon was a demon, no matter what they looked like. "I see that you're already handling yourself well. If you believe yourself to be fit for the job, please sign the contract."
---
Thrax smirked when he saw the blush. No woman could resist him, not for long anyway.
---
Dan just watched it all with a small smile. The blonde and the cat fighting was nothing new and he enjoyed what sort of fights they brought to the table. CUrrently, he had a pool on which one would win the most arguments by the end of the week.
