Never mind that Ion had almost been anticipating some kind of horrible thing to have happened. Green eyes were wide with shock when Molly finally finished explaining. The nymph that had been killed... was alive? With them? "Y-You mean she's one of us now?" Ion asked. He didn't think it would be impossible. Nymphs were good people, so who was to say she couldn't have become an angel? It was just so... out of the ordinary, he supposed. Especially after he'd been met by the news that they needed to save a wizard's life. Needless to say, the young adviser was rather thrown off by this bit of news. It wasn't what he had been expecting, that much he could say with certainty. Still, he did wonder where Giselle had gotten off to. Why hadn't she stayed with Molly? Or was she too preoccupied in getting used to the Kingdom to stay in one place?
"Where is she now, Molly? I can't imagine she knows just what's happened to her." he said. Did Giselle even know her death had caused a war to break out? Was she aware of what was happening at that very moment? That a young wizard had almost lost his life because of this war? The last part didn't sit well with Ion. He didn't think Hiccup needed to have put his life on the line for the war. Then again, he had heard what Gothel said at the meeting. She hadn't wanted to put her witches and wizards on the line for the war. So how had Hiccup ended up out in the fray? A good question, to say the least. One he would have to ask when the young wizard regained consciousness. ...Assuming he remembered how he had even gotten to the fight in the first place. Ion didn't know about the full extent of demon blood and its powers, but he did suspect Hiccup had been pushed to his limits by the battle and the blood. It wouldn't have surprised him if the wizard's brain shoved the memories to the furthest corners of his mind just to try and cope with what had happened.
"Does she know what's happening?" he asked, diverting his thoughts away from the Hiccup situation and back to the Giselle situation instead. He doubted she knew the full extent of what was happening, but part of him did hope that Giselle wasn't completely clueless on the issue.

The young girl shook her head. "She came here and thought it was very pretty and then wandered out into the garden. She apparently likes animals." Molly's blue eyes softened for a moment. "She seems very nice but i don't think she knows what's going on." Putting on a stern face she looked at them both. "I told her to stay in the garden until i found you two. and she agreed."

Ion nodded a little as Molly finished speaking. Obviously they would need to welcome Giselle to the Kingdom even if she didn't know what was going on. It only seemed right to make her feel at home. "Thanks for telling us, Molly." Ion said. Now all they had to do was go to the garden and meet her. That wouldn't be too hard. After all, it wasn't like the garden was far away. It was a bit of a walk to get there, but that would be okay. "Please take us to her. It's only right that we make her feel welcome here." Ion said. He wondered if her appearance had changed any since she had been a nymph before. Would she appear like an angel, or would she still be like a nymph?
Only one way to find out...

The young girl nodded before taking her time to open the door to the garden. "Do you think she'll really want to be here after she realizes what she's caused?" she asked. At this Proteus frowned.
"We shouldn't blame her for things like this, it wasn't her fault that she was picked out by demons." the young prince shook his head before giving a smile at the newcomer...or newcomer to their side.
She was pretty to say the least and didn't seem to mind the pair of white wings on her back. "Hello." she called out

"Hello..." Ion greeted. He wondered if Giselle really would want to stay if she knew she had caused the war. He didn't blame her, as there had been no way to determine who would have been the one killed to start things off, but he did wonder if she really would feel at home if she knew what had happened. He ran his hand through his hair to try and help himself relax a little, which was not really an easy task, before trying to determine what he ought to say. He supposed it would be best to start off by welcoming her to the Kingdom. After all, she was the newest addition to their ranks.
"This is the Kingdom of Light. Welcome. My name is Ion, by the way." Ion said cheerfully. His cheerful expression seemed to fall slightly as he thought about what else to say. He supposed it would also be a good idea to ask when she had arrived. "If you don't mind my asking, when did you get here?" he asked.

Giselle smiled brightly. "I'm Giselle, it's a pleasure." she gave both a curtsy. "I arrived only a few moments ago and that young lady behind you was kind enough to show me this lovely garden." the woman's eyes never dulled and she never stopped smiling which was starting to make Proteus a little uncomfortable.
He gave a small smile. "It is a honor to have another angel here, you are certainly welcome to stay." he was not sure how to tell her that she was a cause of a war. That would make things more chaotic than they already were.

Dark blue eyes were focused on the little group of angels in the garden. Crona had carefully hidden himself and was looking on with interest. The young teen didn't know what was going on, but he did know that for some reason it looked interesting. The newest angel looked especially interesting for some reason or another. However, he couldn't bring himself to move toward the group. He felt like an outcast compared to the others, especially because of what he once was. Why would the newcomer be interested in him?
Then again... you never know. She might be nice. And Molly's over there, so she must like her.
Crona gulped a little and shrunk back. He didn't know if he could deal with talking to a newcomer, especially with Ion and Proteus present as well. But if he didn't move, he would never know if this newcomer was nice or not. There was only way to know just what he was missing out on. Crona had to find out if she was nice. "E-Excuse me..." Crona murmured. He took a few hesitant steps forward out of his hiding spot and brought one hand to his arm sheepishly before glancing at his feet. Why did introductions have to be so awkward?
"I... I d-don't th-think I've seen you... around before." he said.
"Oh, Crona! You're just in time. This is Giselle. She's just joined us." Ion said cheerfully. It seemed as though the situation had become just a little looser with the arrival of Crona. Leave it to the young pink-haired angel to make things a little easier to deal with. Whether he knew it or not.

Giselle turned to the pink haired boy with a kind smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you Crona. As introductions have already been made i am Giselle but it is still an honor to meet you." she offered her hand to him not sure what else to do.
Molly looked at the nympth, she was the one that caused the war? Really. all this was over the death of a happy-go lucky girl named Giselle? The idea of it seemed really strange to her but she didn't question it. "I shall go get your room ready for you Miss."

Nice. She... she was nice. This helped Crona relax a little, but he was still a little timid in this situation. It had been a long time since he had been in the presence of such a nice woman. Sure there was Molly, but she was different. She was around Crona's age. Giselle... she reminded him of that kind Miss Marie. So nice. So kind. So... not intimidating. Crona was snapped from his thoughts, though, when he saw her extending her hand to him. Maka... Maka had done that once before. When she had first decided to be his friend.
Maka...
His gaze softened a little as his thoughts drifted to Maka. Crona missed Maka dearly. Maybe... maybe Giselle was the someone he needed to help him through this rough transition period. At length, Crona extended his own hand and gently grasped Giselle's to shake it. "N-Nice to m-meet you, Giselle..." Crona said at last. There it was again. Why did he have to be so timid? This wasn't anything for him to worry about. Crona didn't have anything to be worried about. She was a nice woman.
"Th-there... there was a battle today, wasn't there Proteus? Is... everything okay?" Crona asked. He didn't know if Giselle knew about it or not, but he was vaguely aware of the fact that there had been a fight. He didn't know what had gone on.

Giselle's smile slowly faded at Crona's question. "A battle?" she frowned at the idea of people getting hurt especially in a battle. "What...what is going on?" she asked, her voice slowly getting more nervous. "Did something happen?"
Proteus knew that it would eventually come to him breaking the news to Giselle but he decided to answer the question of the young angel first. "The battle is still going on, there are a few people still left on the battlefield. One wizard had demon blood in him, we were able to save most of him..." he sighed before turning to Giselle.
"Prehaps it would be better if we went inside."

"M-Most of him?" Crona repeated. His already pale features seemed to turn just the slightest bit whiter at the idea that they were only able to save most of someone. What did that even mean? How could you only save most of someone? Even though most of Crona's mind was screaming not to ask about it, he just had to know. He didn't say anything in relation to that, though. He merely gave a little nod at the suggestion to go inside to discuss things.
It was Ion that spoke up next. He did still feel guilty about not being able to do more to help the wizard in their custody. How he was going to react when he regained consciousness was his biggest concern, even if he didn't say so out loud. "Yes... it probably would be best to go back in. That way we don't awkwardly crowd up the garden." Ion said, offering just a faint little laugh as he finished speaking. They could also show Giselle around once they were inside. It would double as a tour and an explanation.
...They probably would need to tell Giselle what had happened after she had been found dead. There was no tiptoeing around the issue. But he wouldn't say it himself. Not until he felt safe enough to say it.

"Yes. But like i said, i would prefer if we chatted inside then out. It is going to be a long conversation considering our newest member doesn't know what is going on." Proteus said speaking gently to all of them. The sad truth was, he was probably more nervous than they were.
In all his life of being a prince he had never dealt with war before, most of the time things had been handled peacefully. Not well enough at that. So finding out there was a war now was not the time to get too scared of anything.
"Please, come inside."

Ion decided to lead the way back inside, motioning for the others to follow, while trying to figure out the best way to word what needed to be said. He also needed to determine the best place to hold the discussion. His room was right out since that was where Hiccup was resting, but it left a few options. The green-haired angel kept silent as he walked, though. His wings were the only real indication that he was thinking about something, as every so often they would twitch just a little. It had become a sort of nervous habit Ion had developed when he was thinking hard about something. No one ever said anything about it, but Ion knew it was there. He'd noticed it himself once before.
Soon enough, Ion had succeeded in leading the group to a fairly nice room with a table in the middle of it and a few chairs. This seemed like the best place to discuss what had happened, even if he hadn't been aware he was leading them in that particular direction. "Please, have a seat. Then we can begin to discuss what's happened." Ion said. He could see Crona taking up a seat without a problem, so that was a relief. At least the pink-haired teen knew being hesitant about the situation wouldn't do any good right then. Ion followed suit and once he was settled he folded his hands together and waited. He wouldn't begin speaking until Proteus and Giselle had taken their seats as well.

Proteus being a gentleman, pulled Giselle's chair out for her before taking his own seat. The strawberry blonde angel looked at the trio confused. "Could someone please kindly explain to me what is going on?" she asked. "Is someone hurt, why aren't you helping them?"
Proteus calmly raised his hand. "We did, we did help them. They are asleep right now. We will explain everything we can to you but you simply must be patient." he turned to Ion. "Why don't you start."

"I'll... start from the beginning."
Ion inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly through his nose before deciding to speak again. It would be no easy task filling Giselle in, but it needed to be done. Otherwise the redhead would be left in the dark forever. He didn't want that to happen to her. Besides, he seemed best suited to explain. Other than Proteus he seemed to be the most calm person there. Crona was a nervous kid and he didn't know the full story. Giselle was the one that needed to be informed, so that left Ion. He thought he could handle it. Another breath, and then Ion closed his eyes as he readied himself to explain.
"After word got out that you were killed, a big meeting was called between all the races. Every race seemed to be accounted for. Witches and wizards, werewolves, demons, vampires, and then of course us angels were there too. Proteus and I both went to try and keep the peace, but that didn't last long." Ion's expression became downcast as his eyes opened again and his brow furrowed slightly. He hadn't liked how the meeting had gone. Not one bit. "Everyone started blaming each other for what happened without cause. At one point I thought that a fight was going to break out, but somehow we managed to avoid it. In the end... war was declared." Ion said.
"Not everyone wanted to participate, though. I remember the head witch said she wouldn't be putting any of her witches or wizards into the fighting. Proteus and I didn't want to participate, either. But here we are. It's led to this battle that's going on in the woods right now." Ion explained. He wished he had ignored his feelings and followed Proteus into the fight. Oh, if only he had. If he had then maybe they wouldn't have had an injured wizard in their custody. "I don't know what happened out there, but a demon attacked a wizard. Proteus brought him here to save him from being killed by the demon blood in his body." Ion's brow furrowed a bit more. It didn't make any sense. What was a wizard doing on the battlefield if Gothel had said they weren't going to participate? Had he just ended up in the fray on accident?
"We just... finished healing him of the blood a few moments before Molly informed us you were here. That's not all we have to deal with in terms of his injuries, though." he said. His voice grew just a bit softer, almost as if he was hesitant to talk about it, as he began to think about what more they needed to do. He had noticed that Hiccup's right arm appeared to have been injured somehow. His leg, obviously, was the worst damage that had been dealt. "I don't know what happened, but his left leg... I don't think we'll be able to save it." he murmured. Ion hated admitting defeat like that, but it was the truth. There was no way they could save Hiccup's leg. It had been pierced too deeply. Bone and flesh had been all but destroyed.
"I know you didn't mean to cause any of this to happen, Giselle. The way things worked, though, makes it appear as though your death was just... a trigger for this war."
