(ooc: June 10th, around nighttime. Open only to Wilbur and Shanti. Excuse the lame title but song titles are hte best ones for titles after all.)
The boy had been out exploring and while it had been a troublesome time to sneak out of the castle with Gothel breathing down his neck. He had managed to get out without anyone noticing. Wilbur had discovered the garden on accident. Only to walk around the forest to get some fresh air, he had found it on the borderline between another castle and Gothel's own.
The moonlight reflected off the flowers which to Wilbur, they looked like glass, or even crystal.
It was a place he thought his mother might like or even his aunt. Taking a seat on the stone bench, he stared up at the moon.
"If i master this power...will my life be any different." he asked himself outloud, he was so focused on trying to answer this question he didn't hear the sound of someone else

The little angel was currently sitting by her lonesome. She needed to think. Much like the boy whose presence she wasn't aware of yet, she was thinking about her powers. True, she was dead and her only life would revolve around being a whitelighter and protecting her first charge-whoever that was- but still. She didn't like having these powers, but the obediant girl did as she was told and practiced her powers daily. But the sad fact remained that she just wasn't any good at it.
Maybe she just needed more practice, but the truth was, she didn't want to. She was brought out of her thoughts by the sounds of another person, she got up and dusted her skirt of, making her way to where she heard the noises. She poked her head out from behind a tree to see a boy about her age. She raised an eyebrow. What was he doing here at this hour? Hm, perhaps she should answer her own question. "Hello?" She said meekly.

Wilbur was a bit surprised to see someone else out in the garden especially this late at night. "Uh...hey." he said with a tiny smile and a wave. Great. He had been hoping for some time to himself but now the boy was happy to have a little company. Honey brown eyes watched her for a moment before relaxing.
She didn't seem to mean any harm, in fact she seemed just as confused about seeing another human here as he was.

Shanti waved back to him sheepishly. She took a few small steps towards him, coming out from behind the safety of the tree. She wasn't afraid of him, she had no reason to be. For starters he didn't look dangerous at all. Second, well...she was already dead, what more could he do to her? He looked like he was thinking before she came and interupted him. "Uh, sorry I interupted you, I was just curious as to why you were out here so late."

Wilbur shook his head. "You didn't interrupt me. I wasn't really do anything important." he shrugged before smiling. "As to what i am doing out here, I just wanted to get away from all the craziness that goes on at my home..." he paused for a moment. 'Or more like new home." he replied. "My teacher isn't exactly the easiest to get along with and i tend to screw up, quite a bit."
he gave a tiny smirk before looking at her again. She was cute and a little skittish but she was being nice which was a switch for him. "What about you?"

Shanti nodded when he said she hadn’t interrupted him. That was good; the whitelighter had a tendency to worry about things-everything-no matter how small. When he explained why he was out here she nodded. She could understand that. Being in a new place like this, or wherever the boy was from, could be overwhelming. Lord knows it was for her. Proteus and the other Angels/Whitelighters were nice, not that she had gotten to know that many of them, but she missed her home. Needless to say she didn’t like being dead.
“Me?” She asked. “Just….thinking. Wondering when I’m going to get the hang of these powers. I mean, for someone who was chosen to have them, I’m pretty bad at it.” She said with a sigh. She didn’t know why she was so bad with her powers, she was trying, really she was, but she couldn’t grasp the hang of them. Then again, maybe all she needed was some help.

Wilbur nodded. "That makes sense. I have the same problem. I don't even get why i have them in the first place." he replied, staring up at the moon again. It was nice to talk about it with someone who wasn't another witch. At least, he assumed that she wasn't another witch. "Are you a witch? I've never seen you around. I think i would remember."

“Me either!” She exclaimed in agreement. “I mean, I practice all the time but I never get any better.” The only thing she’d gotten any better at was orbing, at that was still a stretch. Healing, glamouring, floating, and all of her other Guardian powers were non-existent at this point. She couldn’t even communicate with her charge; she didn’t even know who it was yet!
“Actually I’m a Whitelighter.” She paused, realizing it wasn’t exactly a well-known term. “That’s a fancy word for a guardian Angel.”

"Wow, that's cool." Wilbur replied. "I mean the guardian angel part. So, who are you supposed to protect? Are you in charge of protecting a demon or something because that would make you like super awesome." he smiled before standing up. "I'm sure some day we will get better at our powers. I know i hope to."

"Gee, I hope not!" She said hastily. "Demons scare me...If I had to protect one I don't think I'd do a good job. Besides, Angels and demons are typically on opposite ends of the spectrum. Whitelighters are usually assigned to witches and things like that." She explained. "As for who I'm assigned to I don't know, I'm still in training." She finished with a shrug. "When I get a good hold of my powers they'll assign me a witch to protect." She said.
"I sure hope so, otherwise some poor witch will be stuck with no guardian." she didn't exactly know who her charge would be, but she hoped they got along. "So what are your powers?"

"Well, here's hoping you get a good client or whatever you guys call 'em." Wilbur said smiling. He felt better when he talked with her, the boy wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because like himself, she was still in training too? Did that connect them or something? He wasn't sure.
"Oh, I'm a wizard..." he replied. "Or rather a "newbie" wizard." he replied doing airquotes around what Mami had told him he was. "I have power over time which has some good perks but has some bad ones too."

"Charges." She said with a slight giggle. "We call them charges." Like Wilbur, she enjoyed talking to him. He didn't care that she sucked with her powers or that she was shy or different. He just talked to her. And he was just as bad with magic as she was, it was nice to talk to someone who understood her and her problems.
She nodded when he said he was a wizard. That explained what he was doing here, this was somethign of a shared territory by the angels and the witches, they had always been close, hence why witches were more likely to get whitelighters. It was kind of a thing. "Bad?" She asked. "What could be bad about a cool power liek that?" She asked, sitting own on the grass leaning up against a tree.

"Oh its nothing too bad, except for the time i made a dinosaur appear and almost destoryed my house. But i don't count that as too bad." he said giving her a smile. "It's more of the fact that they are hard to control, you can't do it for too long or it makes you really sleepy. The books say it gets better once you practice so i hope it will at least let me stay awake after i do something incredible like making dragons appear and stuff."

Dinosaurs appearing in his house? Well that did sound troublesome. The worst she'd had was a few emberassing moments with her orbing. And while they annoyed her it didn't sound as bad as conjuring dragons and dinosaurs. "That soudns tough." She said. "Now I feel bad about coplaining about my powers when yours are so hard." She said with a slight chuckle. Yes, her powers were difficult to grasp, but she didn't have to deal with all of that stuff. If she did she'd probably die of fright.

"No, it was actually kind of an interesting experience." Wilbur replied. Though he could still not figure out even how he did it. "Except for the part after it trying to explain to my family the situation didn't turn out the way i wanted but can't help that. Gotta keep moving forward."
He gave her a smile
