The Pirate and Princess [Sinbad]

(ooc: date is june 18th. just a fun interaction with Anri and Sinbad)

Bored, green haired girl was bored. Which was sad because she had just finished getting paid for yet another dance. She should have gone and spent her money on something, like food or a new book. Even better new clothes. But no, she didn't feel like doing that today. Instead she sat in the Candlelit Garden, feeling bored. What was there to do around her anyways?

"ARGH! This place needs a mall!" she said grabbing her hair and tugging. "Or at least some cute boys!"

[Sinbad]

Sinbad found himself exploring the Kingdom of Light more and more lately. He strolled the gardens, taking in all the sights, sounds and scents the place had to offer. It had a certain calmness to it, which Sinbad had to admit, appealed to him.

A young girl with green hair, caught his attention. He chuckled at her exclamations, clearly the girl had a bad case of boredom. "I don't know, I kinda like it here." He said, grinning at her.

Anri turned her attention to the voice. She stood up putting her hands on her hips. True, this man was rather good looking but she knew his type. Muscular, charming, womanizers. If she didn't play her cards right she would be petty in his hands. "Yeah, well, you're a man! You don't care about things like shopping!"

[Sinbad]

Well, Sinbad had found his entertainment for the day. "Now that depends on what you're shopping for. I'm always up for a new knife or sword." The swords had been lost on one of his many voyages, but he still held onto his dagger. It was tucked away in his belt.

"Say, what's a little girl like you doing out here?" He made a show of glancing around. "Shouldn't you be with your parents?"

Anri's cheeks puffed out. "No, i don't mean for a weapon! I mean for stuff i like! You know Girls?!" she asked, this man was just trying to irritate her, didn't take much to do that after all. She crossed her arms and gave a smirk. "I am a big girl, i don't live with my parents! I am just that independent and grown up!"

Ha. Beat that.

[Sinbad]

"Touchy touchy." Sinbad commented. The girl got riled up way too fast. Oh well, fun while it lasted.

"No, I get that. You want to do things on your own." He nodded thoughtfully, fully understanding the need for freedom. After a moment, he stuck his hand out. "I'm Sinbad." It was better to make an ally than an enemy; with the way things were, who knew how powerful this little girl could be? If the meteor shower taught him anything, it was that looks could be deceiving. He knew that better than anyone else. Not many could pick out that he was a werewolf.

Anri looked at his hand for a moment, almost as if trying to decide if it was a venmous snake before she held out her own hand, "I'm Anri, Anri Misugi, one of the best Elemental Dancers this town has ever known. No one has ever even tried to deny it." she said, almost giving him a chance to challenge her on that.

She twisted her hair for a moment in her finger. Getting bored. "So, what exactly is your problem?" in a nice way that was her way of asking "what are you?"

[Sinbad]

(ooc: LOLL at Anri's 'nice way of putting it! XD)

He heard the hint of a challenge in her voice, but decided to let it go. He didn't know what an elemental dancer was, so who was he to say if she was or wasn't the best?
Sinbad scoffed loudly at her question, his canines clicking together as he opened his mouth. "My problem? No problem, just that the full moon makes me go crazy." He quipped.

(ooc: i had a feeling that she would do that. plus this thread is just making me lol)

Anri rolled her eyes. "So, you are a werewolf." she replied. He did kind of seem like a werewolf only less ...hairy. That was the word but she didn't speak it out loud. "What are you doing out here? I thought your kind never left the forest?"

Her purple eyes hadn't relaxed yet but for a moment, maybe there was a reason for them being here. "Or are you here on a hunt?"

[Sinbad]

(OOC: They get along so well XD Agreed! I'm cracking up at it!)

He shrugged. "Nice day. Thought I'd do some exploring. Sure, werewolves are really territorial, but I've been an adventurer my entire life before all this magic business came along. Exploring stuff is in my nature." Sinbad shook his head. "No, not hunting. Besides, what would I hunt here? Can't catch the unicorns: too fast. The dragons probably breathe fire, and while I can heal faster now, I'm not fireproof." He paused. "What about you? What are you doing here?"

Anri shrugged her shoulders. "I was out in town dancing, but that was awhile ago. Now that i have the money i don't know what to spend it on." she replied, shoving her hands in her pockets. "Since there's no mall or really anything good in this town i came here. It beats going home until nighttime anyways." she sighed.

'I was doing a lot better until you came along and started pestering me.' she thought

[Sinbad]

Sinbad was about to retort with a snarky comment, but it died on his tongue as he processed her words. There was that word again. 'Mall'. He blinked. In all of his travels, he had never come across anything like it. She said it like it was a place.
"Where is Mall?" He pronounced it like it was a city or country, capital M and all. "I've been around a lot and I've never heard of any place like that."

The green haired girl could not believe what she was hearing. He had never been to a MALL?! Let alone heard of it?! The idea of this shocked her and gave her a great amount of disbelief. "You've never been to a mall?!" she finally squeaked out. "Were your parents just that cruel to yuo that they never introduced you to the Greatest thing in all of life?!"

She shook her head. "The mall is the greatest place in the whole world, it's not a country, its more of like a giant building filled with all different kinds of stores!"

Sinbad was taken aback by the volume of her outburst. So he'd never been to this Mall place. So what? What made it so special?

The remark about his parents stung; he didn't remember much, if anything of them. Who they were, what they did, how they died...he didn't know any of it. He didn't want to show that it got to him. The werewolf huffed and crossed his arms across his chest. "I dunno. They weren't really around all that much for me to ask them." He said quietly.

Sinbad raised an eyebrow. "So it's basically a marketplace inside a building?" He mulled over the thought. "What's so special about that?" It baffled him; Anri was speaking about this 'Mall' like it was the Book of Peace or mountains of gold and gemstones!

"Sort of, but its so much more than that! It's like....how would i describe it? A paradise!" she said finally. "Oh yes, a paradise, its filled with many people, all the clothes you could want, food, cute guys. Some day you will just have to go to one!" the girl clearly loved talking about it, so she did't notice his surprised look.

"Which is why it is so annoying that there's not one here! I need to get my mall time!" she stomped her foot on the ground.
