Sokka walked out, his sword and his hunting equipment ready for usage. He nodded to her and followed. "So, are we going to learn how to hunt first? Or was there something else in mind?"

"Which ever you need more," Taiga said with a shrug, "I mean we can hunt anytime. It's harder to buy things when you've got blood on you though."

Sokka scratched his head. Buy things? Did she mean trade? He gave a small shake of his head. Another foreign concept. "Well, what I really had in mind, all I would need was some sort of map of this place and a very large axe. What little trees we have from where I come from, we know how to work wood to our advantage. Then, the stuff I would need after that would come from prey. Furs and bones and stuff like that."

Taiga couldn't help but think he was crazy. A map? Why not just use GPS, or even ask directions. He seemed confused by shopping too, it was almost like he'd never even heard of technology. Furs and bones, that was something Taiga wasn't going to go into.
"Well, let's get you a map and...ax then."

Sokka nodded and gave a grin. He started walking forward, ducking to avoid a low overpass. He almost tripped over a crystal when doing so. "Hey, Taiga, so where are you from? Some of the word that you said I've never heard of. Like 'buy' and I have never really heard of the concept of your first name being said after your last name. It's kinda going -watch your feet- against what it stands for, don't it? Like an idiom."
He placed his hand upon the cave wall, feeling the strange sensation of a pure diamond on his skin. He grabbed one and tugged on it, unexpectedly pulling it out with ease. He shrugged, then pocketed it.

"Oh, I'm from Japan," Taiga said with a shrug. She didn't have to duck when he did, but she was thankful for the concern. It was interesting having someone telling her when to watch her feet or her head, "We tend to just go into a store and buy what we want."
She watched him pocket a diamond but didn't say anything about it. She picked up an emerald from the floor and tucked it into the hole. She couldn't place it, but Sokka seemed kind of goofy.

"Ja-pan? Never really heard of that place. Although, I guess it's because where I live is kinda secluded." He shrugged. They were almost out of the cave complex, and it was obvious as moonlight seemed to be coming in much more. "Me? I'm from the Southern Water Tribe. It's this small comune that lives on the tudra. We live by hunting and gathering necessary food. What little we have, we make from the remains of the prey we often catch. Well, I often catch."
He walked out into the woods, stretching his limbs. It was kinda creepy, the forest at night. He simply sighed. "I've been the only one hunting for a while now, I hope somebody was albe to take care of the tribe. So, do you have any idea what this sparkly thing is? I think it's a diamond, but I can't be sure. I've never really seen one before....."

Taiga's brain went on over load mode as Sokka talked. So he was a hunter from a tundra, that dealt with water and was south. He'd been hunting a lot longer than her, so she wasn't really sure what she'd be able to teach him. She crossed her arms as they got outside and watched him stretch. He was talking about his tribe, as confused as she was she was thankful for a change in subject.
"Yes, it's a diamond," Taiga said with a slight laugh, "That whole cave is filled with precious stones and gems."

He stared at the thing he had took. It was kinda pretty. "Traders always spoke of these, but I never really saw one. Hmm, maybe Katara will like it."
He pocketed it once more and started walking. He stopped and stood in front of a particurly large tree. He went over to it and knocked on it, listening to the sound. He nodded, then took a step back. "Well, this place has a lot of good trees for carving. It's a blessing for me I guess. Most of the things that I learned from those traders. I know how to carve, cut down a tree, and use a sword for my defense."
He chuckled, then continued walking. The werewolf stopped, then turned around, rubbing his head sheepishly. "Ah, where is the place where I can get an axe?"

"Probably a outdoors store maybe," Taiga said, "I've never actually heard of anyone buying an axe."
She laughed lightly and shook her head. He was defiantly a goof. Though for some reason Taiga didn't mind that much. She'd learned a lot about him in the short time they talked.
"Who's Katara?" Taiga asked.

He looked at her with a sort of goofy grin. He was rather embarressed, but he still trudged on with the conversation. "Katara? She's my little sister."
He went silent, thinking about how it all changed so quickly. His sister a witch, he a werewolf, and both of them very far from home. He gave a small sigh, knowing that perhaps that it was for the best. He walked, still thinking. It had been a nightmare having no idea where he was or how he got there, but he comforted himself with the fact that she was safe with the Tribe. It was really a shock discovering her at the Black Castle.

"Oh," Taiga said as they continued walking, "So is she like us?"
She couldn't help but be a little interested in his life, after all he was part of the pack now. He seemed really out of it, but that could have been normal for him. As they walked she tripped over her own feet and stumbled into him slightly.

He furrowed his brow and scratched his chin. "Define 'like us'. She's not a werewolf, but she's not exactly human. The meteors got to her too, so she ended up becoming a witch."
He shrugged. Then, he felt her stumble into him. He was almost sent head over heels himself, but he composed himself and caught her. He stayed there, holding her by her shoulders as she was close to his chest, really close. He stared down at her, a small blush coming to his cheeks as his face contorted in confusion. He didn't know what to do, so he kept staring at her.

Taiga looked up at Sokka, eyes wide as she felt his hands on her shoulders. She'd forgotten how short she was compared to everyone. She hardly even came up to this boy's chest. He was staring at her, something she hated. Scrunching up her nose she put her arms between them and stepped back. Deciding against clocking him in the face, since technically he'd stopped her from falling flat on her face.
"Thanks," she muttered, "As for your sister, would you have wanted her to be a witch or a werewolf...given the choice."

Sokka kept staring even after she pushed him away. She was really strange, but so was he in a matter of sense. He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. "Your welcome."
He shrugged. and thought on it for a few moments, clasping his hands behind his head and his elbows raising up as he walked along the forest path. He didn't really wait because he knew that she wouldn't be too far behind. "In all actuallity, I guess a witch. After all, they don't have fleas."
He started laughing a little at his own joke.
