(ooc: takes place July 14th, open only to Stella, Legretta and Rain. Takes place around early dawn.)
The fairy of the sun was more than itching to fight which was strange to say. She had done nothing during the last battle. Normally, she wouldn't care less but so far everyone had done something in that battle. But not her. She was going to make Musa proud and show Vidia that she wasn't just some princess that sat around ordering others around.
"Not this time, i am going to show them all." the blonde fairy said to herself as she started walking across the bridge

That was sloppy, Legretta. Your timing was off and your technique was flawed. You need to do better than that!
Target practice, needless to say, wasn't going quite as well as Legretta had hoped. While she wasn't necessarily rusty with her techniques, the blonde demon found she wasn't quite as used to training in the unfamiliar territory as she would have liked to have been. Her eyes narrowed as she slid her guns back into their holsters. She had missed out on what she assumed was a big battle. At least, she had gathered that much information from Chase when he had come back. Even the obnoxious Izaya had gotten some action. The younger demon had been bragging about his victory over a wizard. Now Legretta had a reason to want to improve herself. She had to show that she wasn't a worthless recruit. She was a soldier, dammit. Legretta had to prove that she could do something useful for the army.
Legretta began to make her way through the woods, tucking her wings in a bit more so they wouldn't show as much and letting her scarf drape over her arms, and let her mind wander a bit. Van... how was he doing? Did any of the others notice she had left? What of Tear? How was she doing on her own? Legretta found herself snapped from her thoughts after a while. She seemed to have wandered into more unfamiliar territory. There was a pond of sorts - or was it a lake? - in the middle of the area with a bridge jutting out over it. Interesting.
Suddenly, something else in the area caught her eye. Legretta glanced toward the bridge and caught sight of Stella. A fairy? All the way out here? Legretta was intrigued. It wasn't every day that one got to come across a fairy all by herself. A devilish smirk formed on the blonde's face as she began to walk out toward Stella. Now it was her time to show she was as competent as she sounded.
"Not every day a fairy wanders out this far by herself. Don't you realize there are dangerous beings out here?" Legretta asked. Her wings unfurled themselves and her eyes flickered between blue and red. Demon God-General was going to have some fun. "You might get hurt."

"I can handle myself Thank You Very Much!" Stella snapped at Legretta before looking at her over. Her wings were interesting to say the least. "You could do with a little makeup darling, it would really make all the men want you." she said before her brown eyes narrowed. "as i said, i can handle myself. I always have been able to." the blonde smirked as she spread her sparkling wings out. "Unless you care to prove me wrong?"

"A soldier need not concentrate on her looks." Legretta remarked. It had never been her looks that got Van's attention. Her skill and prowess with guns had earned his favor. She didn't need anything else. "As for whether or not you can handle yourself, I'll be the judge of that." she said. One hand went to her side and gripped the handle of a gun. The other hand remained free, almost as if she was giving the fairy a chance to reconsider what she had said. Legretta knew it was unwise to tangle with a demon. Anyone with half a brain would have known that. This fairy, quite obviously, didn't know who she was about to mess with. A trained soldier with a hardened heart and a cold personality to match.
"If you want my honest opinion, though, I don't think you stand much of a chance." Legretta said. Her grip on her gun tightened slightly. She had been itching to battle for who knew how long, and the chance was right in front of her. Legretta wasn't going to let it slip out of her grasp. Not so soon. However, it would at least be honorable to give the fairy a sporting chance to run away. Fairies seemed to be flighty creatures from what Legretta understood. "Unless you think you have what it takes to handle a real soldier."

"Well, that shows how much you know!" Stella replied angrily. "I am more than just a pretty face." the fairy stood her ground glaring at the new comer. "I might be a fairy but we are strong too." no one was going to make fun of her kind and mock her just because they were demons.
"I hope you planned a good day for a makeover because when i am done with you you won't be pretty for much longer." she jumped into the air and let her wings reflect off the sun "Ray of Sunlight!" she called out and a ball of orange light appeared in her hands, she threw them towards the woman hoping to make a dent.

Legretta remained still as could be, eyes narrowed, and seemed to be waiting for something as the ball of light came her way. She didn't even flinch as it got closer. Only when it was the last possible moment for her to move did she jump backward to avoid the hit. She landed gracefully, letting her wings help to balance herself out, before glaring steadily at Stella. Not a bad move, but it was too slow in her opinion. She could have mentioned that fact as she had time and time again when training Tear, her usual 'too slow' remark being broadcast loudly throughout her head, but she remained silent. Stella had chosen her fate. Now she had to deal with it.
Legretta pulled both guns free of their holsters and gripped them tightly as she aimed for the fairy. "I gave you a chance to run. Don't expect me to go easy on you." she said. She'd be foolish to think Stella wouldn't try to dodge her attacks, but it was at least worth hoping that she was still as good as ever with her aim. While Legretta was no sniper, she at least had the most decent aim of any of the Oracle Knights. Wordlessly, Legretta fired a couple of shots in Stella's direction.

Stella was not expecting this demon to have guns. Since when did demons fight with actual weapons? Not very many that was for sure. One of the bullet's grazed her wings, sending a bit of pain in them. She whinced before attempting to send another several blasts of lights at the woman, "Solar Disk." much like a frisbee, an golden sun like disk appeared in her hand.
She threw it with all her mind, it might not be a gun but the disk was meant to be razor sharp. "Don't underestimate me just yet."

This time, Legretta chose not to move out of the way. She was fully intent on staying where she was and trying to shoot the fairy down. The disc of light coming her way, however, was unexpected. Legretta allowed herself to be hit by the blasts of light, wincing visibly as they struck her, and tried to raise a gun to defend herself from the disc of light. This time, though, it was she who moved too slow. The disc sliced the side of her arm and caused Legretta to cry out in pain. For several moments, Legretta seethed in pain and tried to regain a hold on her surroundings. This wasn't difficult to accomplish, though. She still had her scarf to help stop the bleeding.
Legretta gripped her scarf in one hand and carefully wrapped the end of it around her wounded arm. It was a bit awkward to look at, but it would have to serve as a makeshift bandage for the time being. Legretta's eyes, now fully focused on red instead of blue, narrowed dangerously. No more miss nice demon. Not that she had been all that nice before. Legretta fully intended on making sure this fairy remembered not to mess with her again.
Instead of firing her guns again, though, Legretta decided to make use of her other skills. She dashed toward Stella and once she had reached where the fairy was she aimed a swift kick in her general direction. If that didn't work, she could always try to shoot her down again. Legretta had no qualms with either tactic. All the demonic Major cared about was succeeding by that point.

If Stella was not surprised by the guns then the kick really threw her off her game. The kick sent her flying down to the bridge below, if she hadn't stopped herself with her hands, she would have ended up in the dark waters below. "Not bad, not bad at all." the girl panted before standing up and aiming a punch at the woman. "Let's see how skilled you really are."

The punch connected, sending sharp pains through the demon's body and forcing her to stumble back a couple of paces. This didn't necessarily throw Legretta off her game, though. The demon was strong. She was a soldier. She wasn't going to let a fairy beat her. Legretta shook her head a bit, letting her hair settle once more, before readjusting the grip on her beloved guns. "Not bad. I can see you have a few tricks up your sleeve as well." Legretta said. It was rare that she actually complimented an opponent. It probably would be the last time that she did so for Stella. If Legretta played her cards right, the fight wouldn't last a terribly long time. That was all up to chance, though. She had yet to determine whether or not Stella would hold her own for much longer.
Legretta aimed her guns once more and began to fire a few more shots in Stella's general direction. This time, though, she wasn't aiming for any particular part of her body. Instead she intended on trying to take out the fairy's wings. If she couldn't fly, she couldn't get away. A downed fairy was just as dead as a downed dragon. Legretta knew that. It was all a matter of whether or not she actually succeeded in shooting just where she needed to.

A shot of pain entered the right wing of Stella's. She cringed as she placed one hands on it, it hurt like hell. These were no ordinary guns, that much was obvious right now. "I am going to make you pay for that!" Although her flying was off balance, she dove a kick at the demon, hoping to do some damage. Fighting in the air was not going to do anything anymore

Legretta's success was rather short lived. Before she could try to attack again, she felt Stella's foot slam against her chest. The wind was knocked out of her in one large breath and Legretta's eyes widened. She was letting herself slip up too much. The other demons wouldn't approve of it. Van wouldn't approve of it. ...She didn't approve of such failure. But she couldn't stop herself from being knocked backward by the kick. She slammed against the ground, damaging her left wing upon impact, and lay there for a couple of tense moments.
Sloppy. You've let yourself become sloppy, Legretta. A poor soldier is what you've become! Get up and show her what you're made of!
With that less than gentle inner thought, Legretta forced herself to her feet again and took a couple of deep breaths. This fairy was tough. Obviously, Legretta had done well in finding her when she had. A tense fight was just what she needed to remind herself that she couldn't slack off again. "All right. Now you're asking for it." Legretta wheezed. The blood dripping from her arm had given her an idea. Demon blood was known for being extremely toxic to those who weren't immune to it. While fairies were immune to that much, Legretta thought perhaps she could do more damage to Stella with her blood. Somehow. She wasn't quite sure of what damage would be done, but Legretta wanted to try it anyway.
She carefully removed her scarf from her cut arm and brought one hand to the bloody cut. Drops of blood were evident on her fingers as she pulled her hand away. "Time to take things up a notch." she murmured. Legretta carefully let a few drops of blood fall on to the end of her guns and she aimed at Stella again. Once this was done, she fired again. This had to do something. It just had to.

Stella managed to dodge one bullet before one grazed her arm. "Ouch." she rubbed her arm, demon blood was supposed to be useless against her own kind so using her magic shouldn't be a big deal if she used it right away. But she had to get away from here, she couldn't heal with a gun weilding demon here. Her vision was starting to blur a little. "I am not going to lose."

Legretta couldn't hide the smirk that appeared on her face when she realized she had successfully hit Stella with her now bloodied ammo. It appeared as though things were beginning to take a turn in her favor. With her blood slowly beginning to course through her opponent's system, assuming that was what was indeed happening, it wouldn't be long until she was dead. Somehow, though, Legretta wasn't quite satisfied with that outcome. She wanted to make sure she saw this fairy suffer. After deciding to leave her injured arm alone, Legretta moved closer to Stella. She didn't make a move to attack the fairy, though. Her guns remained silent and she didn't strike out with her legs to try and trip her up. No, it appeared as though Legretta merely wanted a closer look at her opponent. She had only just heard what Stella had said and admittedly was amused by it.
"It appears as though you're losing to me." Legretta said. Pity. She had almost hoped that the fight would have lasted a bit longer between the two of them. It appeared as though that wasn't going to happen, though. Her opponent appeared dazed already. While Legretta didn't know the full effects of death by demon blood, she could at least identify a dazed enemy when she saw one. What she didn't realize, though, was that things might not have been entirely over. She still hadn't taken into account the fact that they were above water. She had noticed the water, yes, but the fact that there might have been something in there hadn't even registered.
"I should have known this would be over long before it started. Is this all you fairies are good for? Only putting up a meager fight?" Legretta asked. She had admittedly been leaning more toward the fight being challenging at one point, especially when her arm had been cut, but it had boiled down to luck and quick thinking on Legretta's part. Was this really how it was going to end? Her victorious all because she had thought to use her own blood? Pitiful was all Legretta could say about it. "This is why fairies will never be taken seriously. You don't put up a good enough fight." she hissed. Without warning, Legretta decided to make another move. She struck out with her leg in an attempt to knock Stella off her feet. She didn't even care where her opponent ended up in the end. She just wanted to see her knocked down.

Her magic was always strong, but for whatever reason, this demon's blood was making it more and more impossible to heal, she couldn't see, her hands were trembling, the sun fairy wouldn't give her the satisfaction of begging for mercy. However, when she stepped, she didnt' realize she had tripped over Legretta's footing and fell.
'Come on, please work.' she thought, trying harder and harder to flap her wings. They hurt like crazy. Those gun shots were really something. Had she failed Musa and the others?
Was she just useless? 'I'm sorry Musa. I tried.' everything after that went black.
(ooc: feel free to bring in Rain now)
