Name: Ion
Age: 14
Movie/Show: Tales of the Abyss
Picture:
Other: Since Ion has become a fallen angel, he appears fairly human for the most part. The only thing that has changed about him is that he has grown a pair of feathery wings with a minty green, yet sort of white, color to them.
Personality: Ion is a calm, gentle boy and very soft spoken. He tends to not be taken very seriously as a leader because of his quiet nature, but isn’t afraid to let it be known when he’s mad. Ion is rather friendly, willing to make friends with pretty much anyone, and is considered a peacemaker of sorts. He tends to not get involved in physical fights, mostly because he is rather weak and tends to collapse should he ever actually use his magic abilities. Ion is also very optimistic and shows a great deal of maturity for one so relatively young.
History: Ion was born into the role of the Fon Master of the Order of Lorelei, residing in Daath for as long as he could remember. Even from an early age, Ion was a rather sickly child. He didn't show much in the way of being a great Fon Master, but the elders of Daath believed that he would be a great leader once he came of age. He didn't have a lot of friends as a result of being who he was, but the two friends he did have, a girl named Arietta and a girl named Anise, were considered his most cherished friends... even if they did fight over who he liked more.
Even though Ion had always been a sickly boy and was not exactly what the people of Daath had expected as a leader of their Order, he seemed to grow very mature for a boy his age. He seemed to be a peacemaker, often settling fights between Anise and Arietta, and could keep up with conversations being held by adults better than most children he knew. It seemed as though Ion would fit in perfectly as the Fon Master.
However, things changed when he reached the age of 14. Ion came down with a strange illness that seemed to have no cure. He was confined to his bed for a long time and didn't seem to get any better despite the treatments he underwent. The elders of the Order searched for a cure, anything that could potentially cure their Fon Master, but found nothing. As far as Ion knew, he was just very sick. He thought that he would get better like he had all the other times. However, this time was different. He was growing weaker as the days went on.
When he unknowingly entered his final hours of life, Ion called Anise and Arietta to him. He was a simple boy, of course, and requested that his two friends not leave him. He told them what the elders had told him, that he wasn't getting any better, and that he wanted the two of them not to worry about him. Ion was convinced that everything would be okay. He told his two best friends to not fight anymore, as a favor to him, and to wait for him to get better so that they could play again some day soon. When the two agreed, Ion seemingly drifted off to sleep. As far as he was aware, he was just asleep. Unknown to any of them, there happened to be a meteor shower going on during Ion's last moments.
Unfortunately for Ion, he didn't wake up in the place he had fallen asleep. He found himself somewhere strange. It was as though he had been whisked away to one of the lands from his dreams. He didn't realize he was dead. All Ion knew was that when he reached what appeared to be a city he discovered a strange set of wings coming from his back. Puzzled, and a little frightened, Ion decided to seek company from someone. Anyone, really. Soon enough, he happened upon where Proteus lived. He sought refuge with the other fallen angel, and soon took to living in the strange land.
Family: Unknown parents
Element: NA
Class: Fallen Angel
Allies: Other angels, and I could see him being a sort of adviser to Proteus.
Enemies: Left for roleplay
Sample Post: Nothing. There was nothing in this place that was familiar in the slightest to Ion. Of course he had only been living there for a short while, having only discovered the place about a day or so ago, but he didn't understand it. Shouldn't something have been familiar to him? This was just his dream world, right? He could navigate his dreams just fine before. Ion had puzzled over it for quite some time, and he had come up with no logical explanation. He wanted to know where Anise and Arietta were. They were his best friends, after all. Shouldn't they have been in his dream?
"Come to think of it... why do I have wings?" Ion wondered out loud as he craned his head back over his shoulders to look at the pair of feathery wings again. Feathery, minty green wings. They had never been there before. He had never had dreams where he had wings before. When he flew in his dreams, it was either with the aid of a large bird or on his own. Why would he suddenly have wings? Ion was so confused by this development. "...Maybe Proteus knows." Ion said after a moment.
Yes, that had to be. Proteus had to know why he had wings. After all, the older boy had wings too. Surely he had an explanation. ...Ion hoped he did, at any rate.
