| [atrb=background,http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4480/rapunzelbodyhighschool.png] That was fair... Rapunzel visibly relaxed as her mother came into view and weighed in her opinion. A week wasn't bad. Not to mention it was Gothel giving the punishment, not the shadow man. The blonde had to resist the impulse to stick her tongue out at Facilier. It wasn't very... mature. It seemed so odd though... No one mentioned Hiccup's injuries, no one specifically sought out the loss of his leg. It was probably to keep Hiccup from being self conscious or depressed. It seemed horrible to lose a limb. A wave of gratitude to her own body washed over Rapunzel. She was aware of the movement of her toes and fingers, the tiny pulls that made each muscle move. A new found respect. Rapunzel nodded to her mother.
"Thank you Mother." The girl whispered, and turned to look at Hiccup again. "Do you want to... sit down?" There must be a room downstairs where the red head could sit, it seemed uncomfortable to stand there. With both Facilier and Gothel exacting their punishments. Though Rapunzel was curious to see the shadow man's reaction to Gothel's conclusion. Her Mother was smart, and she was the boss. She'd make sure Facilier knew that.... She had faith. She than turned to Mami who apologized. She kept her lips shut though, it wasn't her place to console the girl. She was directing the words to Hiccup, therefore Hiccup was to answer. Rapunzel moved away though, her foot steps echoing as she moved and peered around the corner, disappearing around the bend and down the hall. After a minute, she popped back into the room, peering from the archway and remaining there. She waited for the apologies, punishments, or overall words to be exchanged before waiting on a reply from the scrawny viking teen on his opinions of their actions at the moment.

(OC: I think this is a good time for Facilier to go off and do his thing cause I don't think I'll be needed here. I'll do it in style)
Facilier frowned not in childlike anger but in stern regal understanding. Now that Gothel was back, he had to stand down. Rapunzel and hiccup and that Mami brat may have won this time but Facilier was still part of the system which meant he would get another battle to win. So Facilier backed off immediately and only gave a nod to rapunzel as if he was saying sorry. He kinda was only to not make a bad situation out of a done arguement.
"I understand. I got too carried away, my apoligies" Facilier replied. Facilier then made a excuse gesture and just stuck to the wall watching everything and waited to check if gothel needed anything from him
(OCC: He'll be watching in case he's needed but for now he's not going to do anything. Sorry if it's crappy)

"It's... not your fault, Mami." Hiccup said at length. The redhead didn't blame Mami. She hadn't known he would end up in trouble. None of them did. Not even Astrid had known. Astrid... Hiccup didn't even know what had happened to her. He was only assuming the worst because she had all but vanished when that vampire had attacked her. "I was stupid for not even paying attention to what was going on. If I hadn't been so focused on..." Hiccup trailed off. He wanted to mention the injury he'd received from Snotlout, the one that Rapunzel had healed, but it was long gone. In its place was what everyone seemed to be avoiding. Hiccup was glad they hadn't directly mentioned it. It wasn't something pleasant for him to think about.
"Anyway... I'll be okay. I guess. I mean... it could have been much worse out there." he said, offering a very slight smile to try and reassure them he was okay. In truth, though, it was probably as see-through as his statement. He wasn't okay. He'd been shaken to the very core of his being waking up to discover that his leg was gone. The news that there had been no way to save it all but shattered him. He'd never be the same again, and Hiccup knew that. His arm would heal, the bruises on his back would fade with time, but he'd never be rid of the prosthetic he'd been given. It would always be there. Taunting him. Reminding him of how much of a screw up he was.
He pushed those thoughts aside to address Rapunzel next. She, at least, seemed concerned about whether or not he finally got some rest. He offered a nod in response to her question. "I'd love to sit, actually. Standing... isn't exactly comfortable right now." Hiccup replied. It wouldn't take much to get to a place to sit. Just a little more hobbling around. That wasn't so bad, even if it was painful still.

Rapunzel smiled at Hiccup. She'd found no room down the hall. But she had an idea. Rapunzel walked swiftly to the teen, and gave him the end of her hair. A smile spread on her face as the idea was forming on her head. "You might want to hobble by the stairs." The girl smirked and starting off at a sprint to the staircase. It would take far to long for Hiccup to make his way up. Thus, Rapunzel had come up with a much better, more fun idea. "OH and hold on." The girl called over her shoulder, leaping and taking two steps at a time. Rapunzel might not have looked strong, but the girl seemed to be more than she appeared anyway. More than a pale girl with 70ft of golden blonde hair. She was anything save stupid though.
Rapunzel reached the top of the steps though, her breathing had become audible as she had to drag her hair over the side rail. Making it to the top, she turned and came to the rail by the stairs. "Ready or not!" The girl called down the staircase and began tugging. Her plan was simple. Hiccup was to hold her hair, and she was to pull him up by way of hair. Rapunzel hadn't thought of Hiccup only having one hand to hold on with... she just assumed he'd hook a leg in the hair and hold on tight with his arm. No problem right? The best place would have been the little kid hangout room which was just a little way down the corridor.
Rapunzel tugged hard, eyes squinted shut and lips pursed as she tugged upward. "Don't hit yourself against the wall please!" She shouted, slowing down for a moment before tugging her hair into a little circle by her feet as it came up and over the stairs.

Well, that was a simple enough request. It also wasn't terribly far away, so Hiccup felt he could manage getting that far. He did as instructed, hobbling over to the stairs, and before long found himself staring at Rapunzel's ever flowing hair. For a beat he wasn't entirely sure what she meant by hold on, but it didn't take long to catch on. A grin appeared across his face and his gaze flashed up to her. Leave it to his best friend to be some kind of ingenious. He didn't quite know whether or not it would hurt for him to actually hold on to her hair like she wanted him to, but it was worth a shot. Besides, it would be better than trying to force his way up the stairs.
His one good hand gripped the golden locks while he awkwardly tried to wrap his right leg around. Not the easiest task in the world, but it was better than hoping to the gods that he could only hold on with his good hand. Granted, using his right leg probably wasn't the wisest idea since this task required him to balance himself out with his prosthetic... but he thought he could manage okay. "Okay, whenever you're-"
Well, it seemed Rapunzel was ready long before he even got out that he was. She'd already begun to tug on her hair, and he could feel himself being lifted up on the makeshift... elevator? Hairevator? What were they going to call it? Oh, who cared? It was getting him somewhere. That was what he cared about.
"You're amazing, you know that Rapunzel?" Hiccup called up. He hoped he wasn't terribly heavy. Then again, with his twiggy body he probably didn't weigh all that much. But with the metal of his prosthetic thrown in... well, it was a gamble saying he was the same weight as before. But it seemed all right. Rapunzel had to be stronger than she looked if she was capable of pulling him up by her hair.

| [atrb=background,http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4480/rapunzelbodyhighschool.png] "So I've been told." The girl smiled, giving Hiccup a hand over the rail. "Though you're the first to say it aloud. I think most people think it though." The long haired blonde joked, though she took in a few deep breaths. It wasn't the easiest thing to lift a person up from the bottom of a flight of stairs. After collecting herself though, the blonde skipped over to the teen lounge. She drew her hair to her though and with a happy "SQUEE" the girl flopped onto the couch. Boredom was easy to overtake her though. Rapunzel still being childish despite her age though... well... There was now a bundle of golden hair on the couch, a nice dome shaped with eyes peering out a single slit facing the doorway.
"And I think you might've gained some weight." Rapunzel nodded, mostly to herself the golden folds of the cocoon shaking. "Have you been working out?" The girl questioned, sincerity, curiosity, and friendliness all mixed in.

He was rather appreciative of having the help over the railing. With only one hand, it would have been difficult to get over. But there he was, safely on the next floor all thanks to his best friend. Hiccup proceeded to join Rapunzel inside the room, slumping into the nearest chair with a sort of relieved sigh, and just thought for a few moments. Having come so close to death in the previous days, he had to admit it was good to be home. Even if Facilier hadn't been all that thrilled to see him. Whether or not it was Berk, it was his new home. They were an odd sort of family, and he had a best friend at long last. That was all he really wanted, he guessed. It was good to be home. In response to Rapunzel's question of whether or not he had been working out, Hiccup offered a sort of doofy Hiccup grin.
"I guess you could say that." he replied teasingly. He flexed his good arm, revealing a nonexistent muscle, and then let it relax a bit. He knew that wasn't the truth, but it was fun to at least play around with the idea. If anything he might have actually lost a little weight thanks to what had happened. Maybe. Hiccup wasn't entirely certain of whether or not he had. "Either that, or this added a little extra weight to my overall being." Hiccup said at length with a slight gesture to his leg. The stupid thing wasn't going to stop taunting him. He could just feel it.
"Man... I'm just glad to be back." Hiccup finally said. He'd missed being with the wizards and witches he was close to. That wasn't very many of them, but they were his friends. He missed being in a friendly environment. Sure Ion and Proteus had been nice, but it wasn't the same. In the back of his mind was the lingering thought of whether or not he should try to sneak out of the castle to look for Astrid. Part of him did want to find her, or at least find out if she was okay. She'd disappeared, after all. Being his only friend from Berk, it was only natural that he would be worried about her. "I'm guessing I didn't miss all that much while I was gone?" he asked.
