(ooc: June 4. Open only to Wilbur and Polka.)
I can't go out there. Not today...
Polka did like the idea that she was fitting in. She really did. The problem was her. She was too used to being all on her own to actively look for an opportunity to find friends. If she were to actually admit what she was thinking, Polka was afraid. She was so used to the idea of people being scared of her and her powers that she was convinced attempts at becoming her friend were nothing more than that. Just attempts that would be brushed off at later dates. So, the blonde light witch lay out on her bed and was staring up at the ceiling. She didn't want to face what she thought was nothing more than a lie. Mami and Violet had been nice, Polka knew that much, but she just... wasn't quite ready to trust so openly.
"I'm sure the others are nice. I just... don't know." Polka said. She pushed herself up into a sitting position and stared down at her bed. She knew she couldn't do anything to change her situation by sitting in her room and hiding. As her mind wandered a bit more, Polka found herself coming out of her thoughts when there was the familiar sound of footsteps going down the hall outside her room. Polka thought for a fleeting moment that it was one of the two girls she had met before. With that thought in mind, she got up from her bed and made her way to the door. Slowly, carefully, she opened it enough to poke her head through to see who was going through the hall.

'You just had to get her mad, just had to call her old.' Wilbur thought with a grim look of displeasure. 'Now she assigns you more study time, just what you need.' the raven haired boy just couldn't keep his mouth shut and because of that Gothel had given him more training than he thought he was capable of.
"I mean its bad enough i can't even get time to stand still for like one second but now i actually have to learn how to slow it down?" he asked outloud. "This sucks!"

Polka flinched a bit and almost retreated back into her room. She wasn't quite so used to hearing people so angry at themselves. At her for using magic before she had come to the castle, maybe, but not at themselves. It was a strange phenomenon to the young girl. While she was uncertain of what had caused Wilbur's problem, Polka wanted to try and help as well. It was just in her nature to not want to ignore a problem. With that, she plucked up her courage and came out of her room entirely.
"Is... something the matter?" Polka asked. "It's just that you sound so very angry at yourself. I can't imagine what happened to cause that." she said. Well, that was a start. She at least had made an attempt at talking with a boy. It was something she'd never tried before.

The boy stopped for a moment and instantly felt embarrased to be seen yelling at himself, and no only that but to be caught doing it by a girl. Not just any girl either but a cute girl. "Oh, nothing really. Just got more studying to do than i can handle." he said with a shrug. "It probably wouldn't have happened but seeing as that i can't keep my big mouth shut, i called Mother Gothel an old hag and well...this happened."

"Oh my..." Polka hadn't thought about punishments all that much. She generally tried to avoid making anyone angry, and especially Gothel. Gothel wasn't necessarily a loose canon as far as Polka could tell, but the woman had her limits. "Is that why you're on your own and not with the others?" Polka asked. He looked much more social than she did. He must have had more friends than he could count. "If you don't mind my saying so, you look like you would be a lot of fun to spend time with." she observed.
A thought occurred to Polka as she spoke. While she was a light witch, that didn't mean she couldn't at least offer to help Wilbur out somehow. It was the least she could do since they had started up a discussion, right? "Maybe... I could help you? I don't know what I can do, but I... want to help." Polka said.

Wilbur shrugged. "I guess you could say that." he replied. "As much fun as people are, my powers are a bit...unstable. So I try to avoid them as much as possible." The offer surprised him for a moment. "You would really do that? I mean help me with this, because that would be awesome. I suck at studying so...it would be nice to have someone to help."

Polka couldn't help but laugh a bit as Wilbur explained himself. It seemed like he did have his hands full. Polka's powers had come naturally to her, so she didn't quite know what it was like to have trouble with them, but she was willing to help him out. After all, he seemed like a nice boy. It was the least she could do since he wasn't treating her like she was weird or anything. "Why don't you bring your things in here, and I can help you study? I... would feel more comfortable in here. I don't really think I want to head out anywhere else right now." Polka explained softly. If he didn't think she was weird for that, Polka would be surprised. How many witches were so... anti-social? Polka wasn't aware of many.
"I mean... if it's not too much trouble, that is. If you'd rather we went to your room, I would be okay with that too. I guess..." Polka said. Indecisive girl was a bit indecisive at that moment. She didn't want to seem that way, but she didn't want Wilbur to think she was being stubborn by not wanting to go anywhere else.

Wilbur raised an eyebrow at her before smiling. "I don't mind hanging in your room, as long as you don't mind." he replied. "I mean we could go to my room but well..its really really messy. Like super uper messy." he didn't really care that he just said super uper messy, he was kind of hoping to get a smile out of her.
That's what he did best. Got smiles out of people

Polka couldn't help but laugh a little at Wilbur's statement about his room. Was it really that bad? She supposed it was better not to find out, but even still she was a little curious. "My room is fine. So long as you don't mind being with me." Polka said. She only said the latter part because she was still uncertain of whether or not anyone really did mind spending time with her. After all, Polka was sort of anti-social in a way. She had only really spent time in the library with the other girls because she had wanted to see what was in there. These days... well, Polka was mainly by herself. It was difficult to really get her to come out of her shell. Maybe Wilbur would succeed in bringing her out of it.
"I... don't think I've actually really gotten to know you, now that I think about it." Polka said. She didn't even know Wilbur's name. How pitiful was that? "Then again, I guess you don't know who I am either. I'm... I'm Polka." she said.

"Believe me, i don't mind being with anyone. I'm a people person. As long as you don't start wanting things like dragons or dinosaurs in your house. If that's the cause then i might as well leave because i would hate to impose." The raven haired teen laughed before smiling. "I'm Wilbur, Wilbur Robinson at your service."
