Personality: Mami may seem like a very nice girl, she is upbeat and cheerful and is dutiful to protecting her friends. She is shy and considered by some to be a mother-like figure. While she is mostly seen smiling, this girl feels terribly alone as she has never had a single friend to talk to. So she tends to keep her feelings inside and closes herself away from others.
History: (be detailed in this one!): Mami was born in Japan that lived with her mother and father. Mami was never really close to her parents but always did her best to make them happy. She was glad to have a family and she thought she would live a happy life. That was until, the accident.
While driving home from a local movie, the car crashed leaving her parents dead and Mami close to to death, it was with luck that a car stopped and called for help. Though while in the ambulance the girl begged them to save her mother and father. It was too late though.
The first night in the hospital, Mami glanced out the window to see a shooting star, closing her eyes she made a wish.
It was then that she became different. Magical. it was first noticable when her hair started glowing in the dark, after that it was when she waved her hands at a rainday, a rainbow appeared. Being able to take away the light from street lights and hold it in her hands. It was like holding a mini sun.
Soon, after realizing this power, she went to the Black Castle. However, despite Gothel offering to teach her, Mami felt awkward with the idea. While Gothel does teach her, this girl prefers learning on her own especially at night.
During the day she often is seen cleaning the palace, often like a maid, which makes several people think she's just help. and due to her personality people avoid her.

Mami sighed as a pair of local wizards past her, the broom sweeping the dust into a pile, as she finished her work. The young girl made her way over to the broom closet.
Glancing outside the window, she saw pouring rain and clouds. She frowned and pushed it open, the wind was fierce and would most surely mess up her hair.
Taking a deep breath, she concentrated, a small warm light appeared in her hand. Blowing it out of her hand, like a dandelion seed, the light levitated into the sky and disappeared among the clouds.
In an instant, a rainbow appeared filling the garden and castle courtyard with light.
"As a light witch, you should know not to mess with the weather." Gothel said from behind her.
Mami closed the window before turning to Gothel. "My apologizes." she said before taking the broom again. "I just like the sun to shine on those who have dreams."
