The Red Death nodded, smirking. "Fine. I guess that it's time for the climax of this little duel."
He put both hands on the hilt of his magma sword. The flames around him started to be pulled nearer to him, joining the blade of magma and making it grow larger. Soon, it was over seven feet tall. The Arena of fire looked as if it had started going out in all directions, thankfully the fire had stopped in its path when Thrax had summoned it all into his sword and it hadn't reached the trees yet. The demon lunged forward, his feet barely hitting the ground as he raced forward. He bunched his legs and jumped almost ten yards into the air, coming down with the blade aiming straight for the teen.
THere was an explosion as Thrax collided with the ground.
(I'll leave the choice of whether Rex dodged it or not up to you)

Rex had barely time to think and managed to dodge at just the right time. Though it probably was shere luck. This demon was good, too good. Probably had way more power than Rex ever had. How was he supposed to beat him let alone scratch him. "Come on, Rex. Don't let them get to you. You can do this." he said to himself. Closing his eyes, the boy took a deep breath before climbing one of the trees in front of him, taking out the daggers, he jumped straight down hoping to land or at least do so more damage.

Thrax knew what was coming. He had a small trick in mind, but it would only work if he did this prescisely how he planned or it would go...........
The two daggers plunged into his back. He grunted as the rest of Rex's body collided with him into the dirt, leaving behind his own blade sticking from the ground. The Red Death turned over, his eyes staring off into space as two blades were pushed even farther through his chest. His mouth hung open in shock, as if his life was taken when he didn't expect it. To all who looked at him, he was dead.

Rex sighed in great relief. He was not expect it to go so well, it was the first real fight that he had enjoyed With a nod he pulled out the daggers and wiped the blood on the dirt. Glancing back at Thrax, he shook his head. "Well, hate to be off in a hurry but i have other things to do." he said with a smirk before starting to walk off

Thrax's body lay there while the boy took his first couple of steps. THen, it moved. Slowly, Thrax got up without a sound and smirked. The wounds alread closed up in his bare chest and he walked behind the boy. He poked the boy with his dagger finger while the sword got out of the ground and flew into his hand. "Surprise!"
He lunged the sword forward into the boys shirt. Funny thing, it went straight into the boy's chest, but it did not harm him whatsoever. Thrax chuckled. "You know, the sword only burns when I tell it to. So, if I say the words, you'll be flambaed like a chicken."

Rex stared in shock at the sight of the blade in his shirt. That was impossible. All the other demons he had fought had never been able to heal, but then he remembered, Thrax was not like other demons. "You are better than i thought but i would prefer not to be a fried chicken."

Thrax chuckled. "Even until the end, you can't help but crack your quicks, can't ya? You know kid, I think I'll let you go. I haven't had this much fun in a while and if I kill you now, I won't be able to later."
He pulled out the blade of the demon hunter, still not even harming the kid. It disappeared into thin air and he walked over to his pile of clothes. He put the black trenchcoat and grey sweater on once more. He slicked back his hair and the fire arena finally dimmed, the flames no longer climbing the air. He took out his shades and put them on. "Kid, you got skill. Keep doing what you're doing and you could probably beat me one day. But remember, don't bite off more than you could chew. I was leniant, but not all of the other demons will be the same way."

Rex nodded at the compliment. "You aren't so bad either." he replied. He wasn't surprised that this demon was telling him the same thing that Six and Holiday had been telling him either. "Don't worry i don't plan on doing that until I'm ready but next time i won't be going after you." he smirked. "Your queen, will be the next one i go after."

The Red Death looked over his shoulder eyebrow raised. "Your funeral. Tried to warn you."
He walked into the woods, disappearing behind the trees.

Rex shrugged his shoulders and shook off what the demon said. If anything, he learned one thing about these demons, they were stronger and had ranks. This queen was obviously one of the more powerful. Did that mean their was a king as well?
What were they after? Demons didn't want something for a reason. "Time to focus, get stronger." Rex said before looking back at the forest and disappearing from the woods
