(ooc: redoing my fanfic section, because i have better fanfic ideas.)
Worth Fighting For
Chase Young wandered through the forest, never looking back at what he had left behind. The tall castle loomed behind him, it slowly got smaller and smaller as he walked. His golden eyes flashed as he walked, the shadows of the forest moved with him, following his steps like a ghost.
They always followed him, just as they had his mother. Yet, that was the only thing that he shared with her, she could feel no happiness and for that she knew nothing about love. Whereas, someone had changed that about him.
He was going to make this right. The boy took one final step before he saw a crowd in the distance.
“Chase!” the familiar voice that made his heart burn. Demons could feel no love but somehow, she had done something for him. Kimiko wrapped her arms around him. “What are you doing here?”
He shrugged his shoulders. “I want to speak to your sister.” He replied. “She has to hear what I have to say.”
Her blue eyes widened causing him to smirk. “She has her rage for a reason Kimiko, with any luck I could reason with her.”
“You don’t reason with her when she is angry. Every one of the fairies knows that.” She replied but then shrugged. “Alright, if you have a death wish.”
She took his hand and led her through the beautiful forest. Unlike what the other demons had told him, the forest was calm and well…peaceful. Colorful flowers filled the trees and tons of little animals constantly were hopping into it. Several fairies who were out and about stared at him, with worry and some anger.
“They hate you.” Kimiko said.
“They don’t hate me, they hate my kind.” Chase said. “They have a reason for doing so, hatred is not something that demons cause. Humans are born with it, my kind only makes it seem like more.”
The black haired fairy said nothing more as she led him to the edge of the forest. There was a small house, possibly meant for two, maybe three people if needed. Kimiko opened the door and walked inside.
“Where were you?!” Chase recognized that voice, the fairy queen was not happy as she came storming in. “Do you have any idea how worried I was?”
Kimiko rolled her eyes. “Relax, I didn’t burn another forest down.” She replied. “I just went for a walk.”
The fairy queen looked tired, and from what Chase could sense, she was also having a hard day. “Yes, well you could have at least told me where you were going.” She said. “Luckily for you, I didn’t have to do anything too drastic.” Her eyes widened as the fairy queen finally noticed the Demon Prince behind her sister.
“Don’t get angry.” Kimiko said quickly.
“Don’t get angry?!” Musa asked. “You brought the enemy into our home! How could I not get angry?!” her blue eyes narrowed at Chase, he didn’t flinch but her looks almost burned him.
“I have come with something to say.” Chase said before Kimiko could say anything else.
Musa however, did not look happy about having him in her home. So he did not sit but rather showed respect for her and gave her a bow. “This is important Lady Musa.”
“Musa is fine.” The queen said bitterly. “Now what do you want? Are you here to kill me? Have you called for your fellow demons?”
“Please, they wouldn’t listen to me anymore than they would to my mother.” Chase replied. “To them, I am just the queen’s pet dog.” He turned to her. “I take orders from no one, but this is important.”
“I’m listening.” Musa replied, her voice still cold.
“Demons are horrible creatures you know that much. But I am not like most, I wish to ask of this of you. I wish to ask for your blessing to date your sister.” He replied.
“No.” she said simply.
“Musa!” Kimiko said angrily. “You can’t do that!”
“I can to.” Musa replied. “He’s dangerous, and you dating him will just cause problems. You could wind up killed.”
“Stop treating me like a child!” Kimiko yelled back. “Just because you are queen you think you can order me around.”
“I am your sister!” Musa snapped. “Your older sister, which means that I am in charge.”
Chase knew that it was not going well, judging by several fairies looking through the windows at the scene. If things didn’t die down, fires would start. “If I might say one thing.” He replied.
“You can get out of my house and my realm before I kill you!” Musa said. “You’ve caused this kingdom enough troubles. Your kind killed one of our kind. Why should I believe anything you say?”
“I am not like the others.” Chase said crossing his arms. “Your sister has brought something into my life that isn’t normally possible for demons to have.” His eyes flashed to Kimiko who moved to his side. “I love her.”
“You are lying.” Musa said through gritted teeth.
“Demons do not lie.” Chase said. “We can only bend the truth.” He leaned against one of the walls of the house. “If you wish to deny the truth from a demon’s mouth then by all means, do so but I will not stop trying to get what I want.”
Musa bit her lip for a moment. She was trying so hard not to slap the boy. How dare he? He dare speak to her that way. Who did he think he was?
“I know you don’t trust me because of my past .My mother has nothing to do with this. I love your sister.” He said again.
“Please Musa…give him a chance.” Kimiko said.
Musa crossed her arms before giving a sigh of defeat. “Fine.” she said. “But if anyone tries to kill her, I will have your head.”
Chase nodded. “Thank you.” He said before Kimiko led him outside.
“I think she likes you.” She said once they were at the edge of the territory.
“Really? Clearly, because normally getting blessings from a relative doesn’t involve a threat of getting my head cut off.” Chase said.
“That’s her special way of saying she likes you.” The fire fairy smirked. “She’ll come around.”
He took her hand and squeezed it tightly. The sun was just about setting as she released it and walked away. Leaving him on the edge of the territory.
“Hey!” Chase turned to see one of Kimiko’s friends. The blue haired fairy. Dawn.
“Yes?” he asked.
The blue eyed fairy blinked at him before continuing. “Did you mean what you said?” she asked. “That you love her?”
“Yes.” Chase said.
“Why?” she asked, the question confused him.
“Why?” he asked again.
“Why does she mean that much to you?” Dawn asked. “Why do you love her?”
Chase sighed before looking back at the sunset, he turned again. “She’s the only thing worth fighting for.” He replied. “That’s why I love her.”
Dawn nodded with a smile. “Good.” She replied. “That’s a good reason to fight for someone.”
“Do you have someone?” Chase asked. “Have you felt that way?”
Dawn shook her head. “No, but I am glad that Kimiko has someone like you.” She replied. “You deserve her, more than you realize.”
Chase smirked. “I think I can figure out my love life without help from the fairy of glitter.”
Dawn’s cheeks puffed out. “Excuse me, your rudeness but that’s the Fairy of Snow!”
Chase laughed before walking away. Somehow, he felt lighter in a way a demon could never feel before. He wasn’t sure why. His entire life he had gone without knowing what life truly was. What he truly wanted.
Now he had found it. His reason for fighting. He had found his princess. His angel. His fire. His light.

Chamiko Fanfic! Yeah, i did it! Was going to have Rex showed up but decided against it. I think i finally found my muse for Chase again. That and City of Amor has kind of helped with that too. Anyways, i guess this is kind of a gift for Musa/Azula.
She wanted Chamiko and here it is! Plus she's been a huge friend of mine, and well i feel like i owe her.
