(ooc: July 18th in the early morning, open to anyone. Sayaka is not inside the castle, she is kind of walking around it. I encourage any witch, wizard or anyone walking her way besides demons (Hades you are welcome to come in here) to fight her for it will lead to the next battle of demons vs wizards vs angels. Also be prepared for a psycho.this may be moved to a different spot.)
The young blue haired witch hunter was filled with rage. It had continued since that so called higher demon Van Kleiss had stopped her from doing what she had intented to do all along. She wanted that demon hunter dead. Why did he have to get in the way? Surely, demons would want a demon hunter dead? But of course not. How stupid was she to think that?
Blue eyes were now not in demonic mode at the moment but she was still urging to fight someone anyone. Her swords were now freshly clean and she hated to be left in the dark for so long.
"How boring can this place be?" she muttered. "The things i do to get something started around here."

(ooc: >:3 Now we have a reason for Gothel to be holding the assessment later in the day.)
Since the meeting with Astrid and Hiccup in the woods two days prior, Polka had seemed to grow just a bit bolder. She had taken to wandering the castle by herself and let her mind wander freely as she did so. Perhaps the encounter with Astrid and Hiccup had done her more good than she had first assumed. Seeing how different she was compared to someone that actually came from where Hiccup had silently made the younger blonde want to change herself just a little. So she had tried to shed her shy exterior and was working on seeming braver. So far, though, all Polka could really manage to do was stray from her usual hangout spots around the castle and think of random thoughts while she did so. Not entirely brave, but she felt she was growing braver somehow.
Today, Polka had decided to venture outside the castle once more. She wasn't defenseless, though. She had found a nice umbrella to use as a makeshift weapon and, after asking if she could have it when she had shown it to Gothel, had taken it as her own. Now she at least had something to defend herself with. it wasn't the greatest weapon choice in the world, but it suited Polka's needs as something to protect herself with.
Even though she was unaware of Sayaka's location, Polka still found herself stopping and looking around. "That's odd. It... almost sounded like someone was here." Polka said. Well, she had believed she heard something. It didn't sound like a bird or anything of that nature. So what was it? It was doubtful, but maybe it was Astrid coming to look for Hiccup? Well, why not? Hiccup went out into the woods looking for her. Why wouldn't the blonde come looking for him? "...Astrid?" Polka asked tentatively.

Sayaka's ears perked up as she heard a voice calling for someone named Astrid. She knew no one by that name. There was Legretta, Ikuto, Mimi, Eris but no Astrid. Licking her lips, she made her way out to greet the girl. Keeping her calm demenor upon her until the time was just right.
"Hello." she said slowly and rather coldly. "Looking for someone are we?"

"Oh!"
Not the werewolf, but a girl Polka was unfamiliar with was the one Polka was greeted by. She'd never seen this girl before, but something about her was definitely off putting. She felt her body grow just a bit tenser. She couldn't leave, not while a stranger was in her midst. Polka would just have to deal with this. "I'm sorry... I thought you were someone else I know." Polka said. The situation seemed a bit awkward now that she thought about it. She'd mistaken some girl for Astrid. Whatever reason Polka had thought Sayaka was Astrid didn't seem to matter. She had to put up with her mistake.
"I... don't think I've seen you around before? Did you just get here?" Polka asked. Naive little light witch thought she was dealing with another witch. She had no idea that wasn't the case at all.

The blue haired girl shook her head. "No...i have been here for awhile. I just prefer not to settle down." her blue eyes narrowed for a moment as she observed Polka. Not a very smart one, but at least she was a witch. But she knew better than to attack unless provoked. "I am known as Sayaka."

Sayaka. It wasn't a name Polka heard very often, but then again her own name was rather strange too. So of course Polka wouldn't comment on how she thought the name was strange. She instead offered a polite little nod. Polite, naive, shy... it was no wonder some might have considered Polka a pushover. She was far too kind for her own good, and with no offensive magic that would make her easy to take down. At least she had her umbrella in case something happened. So far, though, it was looking like Polka was safe. So her defense was down and her grip on her supposed weapon was rather slack.
"I'm Polka. It's nice to meet you." Polka said. ...Now what? Well, obviously Polka did wonder where Sayaka had come from. Maybe that would be the best course of action right then. Finding out where Sayaka had come from, and trying to determine what her intention of being at Black Castle was, seemed to be the best priority in Polka's mind. "So... what brings you all the way out here? We don't usually get visitors." she said. At least, they didn't get visitors as far as Polka knew. So what had brought the newcomer all the way to the castle?

Blue haired girl shrugged her shoulders before speaking. "I came to practice my sword fighting skills. I have to be prepared for when the next battle comes don't I. Such a shame that i missed the first one. I was really looking forward to seeing the victors and the bloodshed." shaking her head she pretended to give a smile. "Pity i missed it though, i do love a good battle but i do hope no one died."
her white glove ran along the hilt of her sword for a moment. 'I want to be the one to kill them. No one deserves to die if it is not by my hand.' she thought darkly.
"So, do you live in this castle?"

Sky blue eyes grew wide at the mention of blood shed and wanting to fight. Polka herself had never wanted to be involved in a fight, so meeting someone that seemed to want to embrace every aspect of danger was frightening. She took a sort of involuntary step back, briefly tightening the grip on her supposed weapon, and glanced about quickly. She was alone with this girl, and it was quickly becoming a less than pleasant predicament. Polka just couldn't keep quiet, though. She had to say something. Anything, really. She just wanted to make the situation less awkward somehow. Any way would have done as far as she was concerned. "I... I don't really see what's so special about fighting. Wouldn't it be better for everyone to get along?" Polka asked.
Didn't you know, Polka? It's war now. Fights are supposed to happen. she told herself silently. It didn't make the aspect of fighting any more pleasant to the light witch. "And yes, I do live here. All the witches and wizards training under Lady Gothel live here." Polka said at length. Maybe mentioning Gothel would keep there from being blood shed right then. Somewhere in the back of her mind, though, Polka knew it might not work. The raven-haired woman was preoccupied at that moment. She had said something about wanting to get everybody together later that day for some reason, but Polka hadn't looked into the reason behind it. With Gothel busy, though, Polka really was on her own.
Whatever you do, please don't do something reckless. the rational side of her mind told her.
"W-What should it matter if I live here? Is... it really important to know that?" she decided to ask.

Sayaka gave a tiny smirk. "Relax Polka, i'm not here to fight you. I just like the idea of finally being able to do what i do best." she said. "I like the adrilene rush i get when i fight. It's something that i have never felt before until a while ago." at the mention of witches, however, Sayaka's eyes darkened.
"Witches you say?" her voice low and cold. "If everyone got along, the world would be boring." she chuckled. "I was once like you, i thought that i could carry the world on my shoulders, that nothing bothered me. Until, my whole world was taken from me."

She wasn't going to fight her? Then why did she have her hand on her sword? Where were the other witches when she needed them? Polka gave a little nod in response to the question regarding witches. "Yes... I'm a witch, you see. A light witch, actually..." Polka admitted. She did have to wonder a little more about this newcomer when she spoke about how she used to be. She used to be like Polka, so... what had happened? Polka was almost tempted to ask, but part of her thought better of it. The little light witch didn't want there to be trouble. Then again...
"If you don't mind my asking, what happened?" Polka asked. It wasn't a good idea. She probably shouldn't have been prying in the first place. She just couldn't help but ask. It was in Polka's nature to worry about others, be concerned for them and all of that, so the question had just... slipped out. Although she wanted to retreat, her body didn't seem to want to cooperate with her. She just stood there and waited for her answer.

Sayaka's first reaction was anger then shock. Why should a light witch care about her? No one had ever cared about her before or even bothered to listen. She was a witch, an enemy. Nothing more. A dark smirk appeared on her face before she gave a dark laugh.
"Well, its quite a story. I had everything, friends, family. A home." she looked up at Polka again, this time her eyes had changed. "It was your kind that took it all away from me. Left me alone to suffer in the darkness. I had everything and it was all ripped from me." she laughed again. "But i wouldn't expect someone like you to understand. You are a witch."
The laugher faded followed by a dark frown. "and for that reason, you are my enemy."

"I... I'm sorry..." Polka didn't know why she was apologizing. She hadn't been the one to take everything away from Sayaka. Polka wasn't even a witch naturally. She'd had healing powers since before she could remember, but her light powers had been given to her by some unknown force. It wasn't even her fault. How could she make Sayaka see that? She took another step back, truly frightened when she saw the chance in Sayaka's eyes, and tightened her grip on her weapon just a little more. An umbrella versus a sword? It looked like Sayaka would be the clear winner, but part of Polka was confident enough to have faith in her strange weapon.
"But... not all witches are evil. No one here would have ever done that to you. I certainly wouldn't have. You have to believe me. We... we've done nothing wrong to you!" Polka cried. She could feel her body trembling a bit. She'd never had to fight before, so this was an entirely new experience. If Sayaka did dare to try and attack her... well, it would be interesting. Frightened though she was, Polka wanted to try and hold her own against Sayaka.
"B-But... if you insist on us being enemies, then I... I won't hold back."
You've lost your mind. You can't handle a fight on your own!
It was too late, though. Polka had gotten herself into a situation which would require her to defend herself. There was no getting out of it.

"Please, i don't need your pity!" Sayaka snapped, her glowing eyes still narrowed. "You witches are all the same. No matter what you are. I hate all of your kind." she snarled. "I made it my vow to destory every last one of you, and that's what i am going to do."
Without even blinking, the girl unleashed her blade. "If there had been a time we could have been friends, but that isn't the case anymore."

The sight of Sayaka's sword being unsheathed sent Polka into a panicked state of mind. Her heart was beating far faster than she was used to, as she could practically hear it by that point. Her trembling wasn't any better, either. The light witch, so inexperienced in battle, was terrified. She'd never had to defend herself before. Not in a real fight. Her grip on her umbrella was so tight that her knuckles were turning white. This was it. No turning back now. She had to fight, or else Sayaka could try to invade the castle and go after her other friends.
You... you can do this. For Wilbur. For Namine. For Mami. ...For Hiccup!
"I... I... I won't hold back!"
Even Polka's voice was trembling by that point. It was almost pathetic how terrified she must have sounded. No matter what, though, Polka wasn't going to run away. She had a weapon of sorts and she had resolved herself to fight for the sake of her friends. That idea was almost laughable, given how sickly she seemed and how frail she must have looked, but Polka didn't care. She wanted to try and defend the castle by herself. At least until someone else showed up.
Her mind seemed to go blank as she finally made her move. Polka closed the gap between her and Sayaka and, without thinking, made an attempt at swinging her umbrella at the blue-haired girl. It probably wouldn't do much damage, but it was her only means of defense. Pitted against a sword... well, if Polka were thinking rationally she would have realized that her umbrella was in great danger of being absolutely destroyed. As was she.

Feeling the umbrella whack her in the head surprised Sayaka so much that she backed off a little. "Ow." she muttered as she rubbed the sore spot on her head. At first she thought it was the witch's idea of a joke. At least Anri or whatever her name was had used magic. Not hit her in the head with an umbrella.
"Can you seriously call yourself a witch if you use that on me?" she asked before lunging again. "An umbrella? Really. I expected more from a light witch."
