Danny smiled and landed gracefully on the ground below them. They had only gone from one end of the park to the other. Hey, it was a big park. Once thouched down Danny nixed on the whole ghost thing. It wasn't that he didn't like being a ghost it was more of the fact that he wanted some sense of normalcy around Sam. He had to admit, even on the ground, he was still a little cold. He chuckled. "I would offer you my jacket," he sighed, "but, uh, I don't have one."

"I'm fine really," Sam said with a laugh. She placed her hands on her hips and motioned with one to get walking, "If we get inside I'm sure it will be warmer."

Following her lead, Danny started walking. Then he thought about where he was for a moment. "You know, it weird not being able to just go to the Nasty Burger. I don't even know if they have just like a one burger joint." He looked over at Sam. "Or veggie burger."

Sam groaned, "You're right! This sucks!"
The goth girl kicked at the side walk and balled her hands into fists. She never thought that she'd actually miss the Nasty Burger. Where was she going to get her recyclo-vegetarian food? or even just normal vegetarian food.

"Relax Sam," Danny laughed. "It's not like it's the end of the world. I would know, I've seen it." He thought back, or should he say forward, to the time when he had seen what his future would entail without his friends and family. He shuddered at the memory.

Sam rolled her eyes, "Not for you. You eat anything."
She gave him a smirk and shrugged, "But I guess you're right."
She stretched her arms over her head and looked at the town. This was going to take some getting use to. She looked over at Danny and raised an eyebrow.
"Where have you been staying?" she asked.

Danny thought about that. "Well, to be honest, nowhere. Just roaming I guess. This is really the first time I've stopped. I didn't know where to settle until I saw you again." Danny looked away and blushed. Then he cussed at himself lightly under his breath because he'd been doing that a lot. Blushing that is, not cussing.

"Well...you could stay with me at the castle," she said blushing as well. He was a ghost so she doubted his presence would be detected, "Or you know I could try and find you a place in town."

STAY WITH HER! his insides screamed. He felt like he'd actually have to shout shut up in order for them to be quiet. "I guess I'll just stay with you," Danny smiled. "Come on, let's go find a veggie burger for you." He offered out his elbow for her to take.

"Yes please!" Sam said slipping her arm through his and locking their elbows together. She couldn't lie, she was really happy that Danny had agreed to stay with her.

Danny didn't know what to do next. He just liked being with Sam. "So, uh, did you do something to your hair?" he asked. He looked away and cussed under his breath. So stupid, he thought. You couldn't think of something better to say?

Danny chuckled. "I'm a ghost not a wizard. I can't make some place to eat just show up on command." If I could I would do anything for you, Danny thought. She's my best friend. This is wrong, he warred with himself. Then why does it feel so right?

"Right of course," Sam said with a smirk, "Though you know it be pretty cool if you could. But then you wouldn't be a ghost and we both know that wouldn't be any fun."
She rolled her eyes and wondered if he liked walking with their arms linked. They did enough were it seemed almost natural.

Cheesy but I'll take it, Danny thought. Reluctantly, he pulled his arm out from Sam's not stopping to look at her face that he knew would be slightly hurt or shocked or something like that. He yawned big stretching his arms wide. "That nap seemed to make me more tired," he said. As he was putting his arm down he drapped one over Sam's shoulders.
