Reunion, Ghost and Witch

[Sam]

Sam's heart jumped in her chest, to her it sounded all to loud in her ears. He was staring into her eyes, holding her chin. If he thought that wasn't going to make it awkward that he was a lot dumber than she thought. What didn't help was that she wanted to wrap one around around his neck and touch his face with the other. "I'm fine really," she said, trying to smother the blush that was creeping onto her cheeks.

[Danny Phantom]

Danny slowly but surely, and unwillingly, let go of her face, dropping his hands by his sides and his gaze with it.

Suddenly, he didn't know why he thought of this but he did and he couldn't get it out of his mind. He opened his mouth and before he could stop himself he spoke. "Hey Sam, do you remember that Reality Gauntlet? Well, if that was still around and we could bend reality to our will, what would you do with it?" He kept his eyes down the whole time, not wanting his heart to literally jump out of his chest like it was threatening to.

[Sam]

"Well first i'd make it so that Val and Paulina were wiped from the face of the planet and never got to sink their teeth into you," Sam said without hesitation, "Then I'd make the whole world goth and recyclo-vegetarian. It'd be the perfect world...for me that is. Maybe a few other things too."

"Like make it easier to admit I like you," she mumbled in the mist of her tyraid. Quiet enough were Danny wouldn't notice, "What about you?"

[Danny Phantom]

Danny heard the mumble, but not enough to understand it. He dropped it, knowing that's what Sam would want. "Well, I'd find Tucker, that's for sure. And some other things... Uh, guy things, you know. It's uh, just some stuff. Besides the whole being persued by ghost almost everywhere I go, I'd say the world's a pretty good place. I mean, I'm here with you right now so things are pretty good." Danny cussed at himself internally after he'd finished speaking. How could he have said that? Hopefully Sam would just take it as a missing his best friends type of thing.

[Sam]

"Right," Sam said slightly regretting not saying anything about Tucker. Danny was stumbling over his words again. She let it slide and didn't say anything about how his lat statement was like a loaded pistol, "Why do you ask anyways?"

It would be a lie to say that she wasn't curious to why he'd asked the question in the first place.

[Danny Phantom]

"No reason," Danny lied. He would not, could not, admit to her that he was just curious as to the inner workings of her mind. First of all, that would come off as really creepy and second of all, he wouldn't admit it to her. Not in this reality anyway.

[Sam]

Sam rolled her eyes and stretched her arms once again, "Sure Danny whatever you say. I'm starving now. Want to head into town and see if they've got double veggie burgers?"

Not really waiting for and answer she stood up and brushed some grass off her skirt. Looking at him she held out her hand and gave him a smirk, "That is unless you want meat."

[Danny Phantom]

"I'll eat whatever as long as you pay," he said chuckling. He grabbed her hand and was easily lifted up. "But we're not walking around town. That's too boring." He momentarily let go of her hand and a blue ring appeared around him again, this time starting at his waist and spreading up and down. "Let's take the arial route. It's way easier to see things." He offered his arm out for Sam to step into. To anyone, it was no secret that Danny liked flying with Sam. It was just another excuse to put his arm around his waist. Danny just hoped it was a secret to Sam.

[Sam]

It'd been a while since Sam had last flown with Danny. Smiling she stepped into his arm and placed her arm around him. She loved flying with him that was no surprise, it was like being in a different world. Not to mention Danny looked really cute when he flew.

"Alright," Sam said, "My treat then I guess."

[Danny Phantom]

"Of course," Danny said, kicking off of the ground. "I mean, this is the twenty first century." As Danny flew, he made sure to pay attention. He wouldn't have a repeat of what happened around the time of Ember the first time. As Sam had so delicately put it 'falling stinks'.

[Sam]

Sam smirked slightly at the mention of that Happy Princess Pagent disaster. Unfortunatly, due to falling once while flying with him, she clung a little tighter to him. Looking up at Danny, she rolled her eyes, "I see how it is."

[Danny Phantom]

"Well, would you rather live in that time-trapped castle again?" Danny smiled. He blushed hard when he felt her move in closer. He felt the wind pick up and shuddered a bit. He felt the blush still resting on his cheeks but he couldn't stop himself as of this moment. "Are you cold at all Sam?"

[Xia]

"Uh...a little I guess," she said, "been awhile since I've flown with you."

[Danny Phantom]

Danny chuckled. "We could walk and get out of this breeze," he suggested. It wasn't like he wanted to be away from Sam and he hoped she wouldn't take it that way but he didn't want her to suffer.

[Sam]

Sam thought for a moment, she wanted to stay flying but Danny might find it weird if she said no. Sighing she nodded, "Yeah I think that be great."
