(ooc: June 30th, not quite the time of the meeting. It was going to be a day after the meeting but decided to change it. Here's the thing. It is open to anyone, but please give me and Van Kleiss the first two pages before sending anyone in. I see no problem with that right? If you want me to change the date then i will since i don't see it as a problem)
Rex walked down the path that he was sure he had taken at least several times that day. 'Great, now you've gotten yourself lost...again.' he thought sourly. Only this time it wasn't in some pretty meadow filled with smoking hot babes. it was just a creepy Grove. His hands kept gripping his dagger tightly, almost expecting someone to come out and attack him.
"Chill out Rex, since when do you get scared?" he chuckled to himself. "Never! Nothing scares me."

The air was quiet. The sunlight was then blocked by a cloud, giving the sky a more dark feel. The branches on the trees seemed to move slightly in the wind. One problem. There was no wind. Then, the earth itself seem to move.
A small patch of soil seemed to swell upward, then move across the ground leaving behind a trail of risen dirt. Then, it errupted to become a large rock. Cracks appeared and it broke apart as Van Kleiss walked forward, his hands behind his back. Then, he noticed Rex. "Hello, would you happen to know where this is?"
His eys traveled to the sword strapped to the young man's back. A hunter?

"That depends on who's asking." Rex said turning around to face the man in front of him. "Cuz I am just as lost as you are." he replied. "Never been here before in my life." he shrugged his shoulders before giving a closer look at the man in front of him. He couldn't really sense anything strange about him, so that must have been a good sign. That, or he was hiding something.

Van Kleiss studied the boy closely, feeling the air of familiarity about him. He brougt his robotic hand up and scratched his chin. His dark eye narrowed. COuld he possibly be the child he left behind? No, he was safely tucked away in an orphanage, away from the rest of the accursed world. But, he had her eyes. And her chin.
He shook his head. No, Rex wasn't anywhere near here anyways. "I am Van Kleiss. And it seems that we are in the same boat. Could you point me in the way of, oh what's her name, Maleficent? Yes, her. DO you know where her castle is?"
His thoughts turned to that of Eris and her way with words, a small grin coming to his face. he cleared his throat. "I have important business to discuss with the new owner."
Yes, about the supposed war she was about to begin. It was to involve his son, so he had to make sure that the boy was capable of taking care of himself.

Rex raised an eyebrow. "Never heard of this Malefiicent character I'm afraid, but she doesnt sound too friendly." he replied. There was something about this guy that seemed familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it, but he didn't want to ask what was so important about the new owner. "I think i saw the castle you mentioned down that road." he said pointing down a path.
"I wouldn't go near it though, unless you had a death wish."

Van Kleiss gave a small nod. "You have my gratitude."
He raised an eyebrow. Beware its occupants? An interesting notion as it was his love that commanded them. He gave himself a small smirk and turned to the boy, studying his face. "Have we met? I have this faint feeling I know you from somewhere?"
He shook his head. "No matter. I'm just reminiscing of some bad memories. Excuse me."
The demon Started to walk away, before pausing. He didn't know why, but something caused him to stay. That boy. He sighed. "It's rude to not intorduce yourself when another has done so for you."

Rex shrugged. "Didn't mean anything by it, just not really into giving my name to strangers but i suppose i did learn some manners." he replied. "Name's Rex. Rex Salazar. Or at least that's what the people in Providence and my brother call me." he replied.
He didn't mention what he was yet, he didn't want anyone to know that except for people he could trust and right now he was half and half with this guy. "Must be dejavu because i have a weird feeling i know you to."
again he shrugged. "Must be a concidence."

Van Kleiss turned away once more. "Must be."
He didn't say anything else, the silence draping around them like a dense fog. The moment was an awkward one and he fidgeted in response to it. His black hair was blown back by a small breeze before his locks fell to their original position. He cleared his throat. "So, what do you do? I'm judging some kind of warrior considering your weapon."

Rex raised an eyebrow, confusion filed his gaze but he did not ask anything about it. At the mention of the weapon, he gave a cocky grin. "Well, sort of, not quite a warrior, a demon hunter. I am the best." he shrugged. "I am not sure if its a family thing or not," he didn't mention his family right now but it was odd in his brain to ask the question
"Do you have a family?" he asked. "I mean one you can remember?"

SO, he was right. A demon hunter. Well, the boy didn't look that much capable of killing him, so he just shrugged. The teen's arrogance reminded him of himself at that age.
He stiffened. His family? Memories came back. Fire, screaming, the dead body of the woman he loved on the ground as his two sons clutched at her dress, trying to find comfort. The small band of demons, each falling before him as he ripped one's neck open, tore another's head from its body, and finally, ripped the still beating heart from the leader's chest.
He shook his head. Not now, it wasn't the time for bitter nostalgia. "I had one, but I'm sure that my children don't even know who I am while my lover, the second one who was able to call herself that, probably forgot about me. That's where I'm headed right now, to see if there's any hope of coming back. If there's anything you can learn from a stranger like me, it's that family is temporary. Thankfully, you can still clutch the memories you hold dear."
He turned and held out his hand for a shake. "This may be goodbye."
(You wanna bring in Cesar?)

(ooc: i will let her player know)
"I'm afraid i don't remember my family." Rex said. His voice grim for a moment, trying to think of what this man had been through. "At least i didn't for awhile then my brother came along. The people i worked for told me my parents died in an explosion of some scientific accident. So, i really don't remember much. It's just me and my older brother now."
He shook the man's hand. "I hope you find what you are looking for though. Maybe there's a chance you'll find your family out there."

Caesar searched for his younger brother. He was sure Rex was doing fine on his own, but he was the only person Caesar knew he could trust. As a demon, Caesar was sure to stay far away from Eris and her people. He didn't want to be one of them. His new demonic energy surged through him but he held on to his sanity, well the peices of sanity he had.
"Rex, There you are." Caesar said not noticing the man his brother was talking to. "So I was thinking, maybe we could get two sorceror's we trust to make this potion, then maybe just maybe, I could be a human again." Caesar said showing Rex his blueprint. "What do you think, mijo?" He said admiring his work.
((ooc: Caesar should remember him right?))

(Up to you. Personally, I think that Caesar knowing but not really telling Rex would be funny.)
Van Kleiss' eyes widened in alarm. Caesar? What was he doing here? He was sure that he had left him with Eris.... But, what if he ran away or she put him out on the streets..... That could explain why he would want to become a human. Then, the next words spoken shocked him even more.
She used to speak Spanish, so it was no wonder why he should use it. But, he also knew a bit himself. Mijo meant brother. His eyes darted to Rex. Now, he could see what looked familiar. Rex had her eyes, her nose, and her expression when she was in a bad mood. Rex was the child he left behind. As if a nuclear bomb went off in his mind, Van Kleiss stared.
This wasn't possible, why would his son become a demon hunter? With a wry smile, he guessed that he took more after his mother than him. After all, would it be so impossible for a demon dancer to produce a demon hunter? But, why did he become one? He shook his head. At all costs, he must not reveal his true identity to Rex. He didn't want to go through all of the emotional crap that came with not having a father. Plus, the questions that could possibly be asked would stir up too many bad memories.

Rex gave a big smile at his brother, glad to know that he was trying to figure out a way to become human without all the science facts involved. "That could work bro, i mean i don't know many wizards but i am sure there are some around. Hey, maybe this guy would know." he said turning back to Van Kleiss.
"How about it man, you know any wizards?"

Caesar looked up at the familiar man next to Rex. He stood there shocked. His father? Out of everyone in the world he knew, it was his Van Kleiss. "Uh Rex, who is this?" Caesar asked trying to fake a confused face.
Caesar knew it was Kleiss, but didnt want to tell Rex that they weren't true brothers... His red demonic eyes blinked as he smiled at the familiar face that shared his blood.
