Reunion, Ghost and Witch

[Sam]

Sam's face flushed as she looked down at the ground, "Fake-out-make-out right?"
She was trying to decide between lying and actually telling him that she saw fireworks. tucking some hair behind her ear she looked up at him.

[Danny Phantom]

Danny looked away. He would lie to Sam right now. But he just couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth. For some random reason he wished to God that Ember would show up again or that random ghost sense he had earlier.

[Sam]

Biting her lip for a second, she grabbed Danny's face and pulled it towards her. Hesitating for a fraction of a second she kissed him and closed her eyes.

[Danny Phantom]

"What the hell does this mean?" Danny meant to ask in his head. "Uh, huh, I'm still an idiot, aren't I?" he asked.

[Sam]

Sam rolled her eyes, "Majorly."
She let go of him and stepped back. Crossing her arms and looking down and away. He didn't like her like that. The kiss was a fake-out-make-out.

[Danny Phantom]

"Sam, it's not like that," Danny defended. "It's not that I don't like you because, I mean, there are a million reasons to like you. But it's just we've been friends since Kindergarden. This isn't weird at all?"

[Sam]

"Whatever Danny," Sam said rolling her eyes, "It's not like I expected anything."
She shrugged her shoulders and looked around the town. Suddenly, she wasn't hungry anymore. Tired and weary were high on that list though. She felt like leaving, but didn't want to lose Danny as a friend.

[Danny Phantom]

"Sam, I'm sorry," Danny said sincerely. "I'm just no good at this. I mean I've only ever even kissed you and Valerie. It's not like romance is on the top of my skills list. And you know that better than anyone. Normally you're the one to bail me out." He chuckled nervously. "I guess I see why now."

[Sam]

Sam shrugged, "Like I said Danny. Not a big deal...can we just drop it?"
She still couldn't believe that Danny didn't get it. Tucker got it before he did, and considering how much of a blabbermouth Tucker was, it was a surprise within itself that Danny didn't get it.

[Danny Phantom]

"That's like asking me to drop you," Danny confessed. "And you know I'll never do that. I care about you way to much." Then he thought back to the ring that Sam had brought out below the tree. "You know that ring that I wanted to give Valerie? Can I, uh, see it again?"

[Sam]

Sam looked at Danny before pulling the ring out and handing it to him. The boy was seriously confusing sometimes. She really wanted to smack herself in the head a few times for ever bringing up any of this. Though it was hard to think negatively when he was making her blush.

[Danny Phantom]

((quoting way too much here but I don't know any other way for danny to say it...))

"Sam, I could never do anything without you," he said, slipping the ring onto her finger. "And I don't care what's coming next. I just hope that, whatever it is, you're there to share it with me."

[Sam]

Sam raised an eyebrow at Danny, but couldn't help smiling. "Course not dummy," she said rolling her eyes, "Where would you be without me? Just kidding."
She was slightly confused by what just happened though.

[Danny Phantom]

"I'd be lost without you Sam," Danny said. "Desiree prooved that. Wow, and thought I was the one who was slow on this subject." Danny sighed heavily before proceeding. "I-I love you Sam."

[Sam]

Sam blinked a few times, cocking an eyebrow at Danny as her face started turning pink, "...I loce you to Danny. But that doesn't mean I'm going to change how I do things. I do m own thing, my own way."
